Ok I’ll ask it. If tables are buying at 70% comps max, and selling at 2X-3X comps why would Anyone bother even going? Sell
At 70% so you get cash in hand?? Tax free?

For buying, I get the whole you get the card same day, inspect it etc etc. but I don’t care about that if it’s a graded card.

Dealers should have signal jammers onsite!

There’s a formula you can use in your head….

Dealer asks person what they want for their card…dealer multiplies that number by .5 to get their offer

Parking is a mess. Be prepared for a ton of traffic. Sitting in line to park at the convention center.

If you don’t park at the Convention Center where are the next closest places to park? Thank you.

No idea. It’s full so I’m in line for the exit. Might just shoot for a casino on the board walk.

Parking is the biggest cluster#@#@#@#@ Ive ever been apart of. Ive spent the last hour in traffic around the center just trying to get through to even attempt to find a lot. Brutal.

Geez, how early do we have to get there to actually get a spot? What time is the garage open?

Parking is a joke, after driving around for an hour trying to find a lot thats even close, I gave up. Guess I shall rest my weary feet and come back tomorrow.

I don't have a problem w/dealers pricing the snot out of their stuff especially when several hundred dealers have the same 20-30 guys in their cases. I do have an issue w/the non priced stuff. That just blows and those people need to be named and shamed.

Sounds like what a dealer says just prior to a lowball buy offer

Non-priced stuff should be an automatic boot out of there

Just ask the dealer if he'll take a certain amount and then negotiate from there....easy and done

Whatnot guy is screaming his lungs out and saying he’s about to launch an $8,000 slab into the crowd.

I’m waiting

Try parkwhiz for parking. I just got my parking for Saturday. Plenty of options for under 20.00.

generally the experience is "I'm with another customer let me spend 5 minutes w/them and then spend 20 minutes looking up your cards and then 5 minutes with you". Imagine going to the grocery store or walmart and having that happen.

So never been to the show but I am guessing that it's common that all dealers will go shop the floor before it opens to the public buy anything good that is cheap enough they can bring back to their own table and mark up to resell just leaving all the junk and overpriced cards for the regular person to buy?
