I am amazed at the number of people I encounter that are so used to people treating them like garbage that when I treat them kindly, they do not know how to react. Men often think I am crushing hard on them. I have to have a lot of "I am doing my job" conversations.

Nobody listens either way. Protests almost never achieve their main objective.

Does the means justify the ends though? I’m not sure peaceful protest are immediately impactful. I am sure violent protest immediately incite counter violence and likely perpetuate ongoing and escalating violence.

That’s why I don’t think this cycle is going to slow down or end well.

I actually ended up banned from Reddit for posting a link to the Senate report detailing all the divisive cultural issues that Russian disinformation agents were pushing. It was the night that the war in Ukraine began and I posted the document along with a reminder that there would likely be an uptick in trolls promoting these kinds of stories to distract Americans from the war.

Hit 1.2k upvotes in less than an hour and then, boom, got hit with a site-wide ban.
