Default Bringing stuff to sell?

Hi -

I know a lot of people bring stuff to sell at the National - I was thinking of bringing a few boxes (mainly some of the more popular Montgomery Club releases to cover my spending money) - do vendors that buy wax release their buying prices in advance?

Trying to see if its worth bringing to sell versus listing on eBay.

Thanks!

They do. Just be prepared to hear prices about 40% of what they sell for on ebay. For example, if a box sells for $100 on ebay, you will get offers (if they are even interested) around the $40ish level.

Based on my experience last year you’re better off with eBay then bringing cards to the National to sell.

I am just guessing but I would assume the best way to sell stuff would be in trade nights and random hotel meet ups. If you try to sell to a dealer they are obviously going to ask a really low value to get it close to the current comps when they sell it.

It’s the same. Dealer or no dealer, who wants to pay close to comps for anything! If you want comps, just sell on eBay.

Same boat as you. I don't have sealed wax, but i have maybe $1500 (Ebay comps) in cards that I'm looking to move. I'd prefer not to sell everything individually on Ebay, so I'm willing to sell everything in bulk for a fraction of the comp cost.
