I shot both of those photos, and was pretty hurt when Topps didn't do any base cards with ASG content in 2021 US (supply chain I suspect, earlier deadline than normal). This set fills that small hole in my heart and I've been chasing the 2 dozen or so with my work. The cards as really nice and I'm enjoying how the photos look. |

Oh man that’s awesome, I really love both shots! I was wondering why they included ASG in this set and I’m glad they did, really cool to run into the photographer here haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I work for getty in Denver... it's random but I end up with photos on hundreds of cards a year. Thanks to all star game, this set is the highest percentage of cards I've ever had in a set though, I think 26 different cards I'm chasing. Safe to say last year's all star weekend ended up costing me a lot of money. Futures game photos ended up Jrod, witt, and tork rookie cards, and so on. I work in Denver only, but there's always two teams on the field. Here’s what I have in hand, just buying singles since only one auto to chase (random Realmuto card in normal uni), no need to pay for the auto in the box:

That’s so awesome man!
Serious question: Do they contact you and ask to use your image for the cards, or do you just look through every card photo and when you see one and go “oh, ****!, that’s mine!” Either way, that’s so freaking cool.

If these numbers are correct, the print run is miniscule. |

A little of both, mostly I follow what Topps puts out and since I've been doing this (shooting and collecting cards both) for lots of years, I'll either buy flagship releases or watch ebay and see my work on cards, and later on I'll get royalty statements and review for payments from Topps to find anything I missed. They don't tell me anything, but for things like Topps Now, I can usually guess the photo they'll use when something happens. First Topps cards with my photos were 2012 Triple Threads and Update, and had photos of college football players on cards going back to 2009. I have a number of friends here who know the long of it as I participate in a couple of threads here, on instagram/twitter/discord a bit but it really is an insane number of examples I could share and my collection (98% focused on cards and other memorabilia with my photography) is absolutely "legit" (read: valuable) even if you ignore the fact that I shot the photos. It's fun to share but beyond most casual collector's interest level and I could bore a non-collector to death. I collect them pretty hard. |

Sub-3k base card print run? Sub-3k cases total? Not bad.

Does anyone know what this parallel is called? I looked up checklists and can’t seem to find the name of the parallel. Is it just a pristine refractor? If it is, shouldn’t it say pristine in the back.

I think it is still considered a "red". I had the same one for a "pure power" insert that was considered a "red Parallel"

Yes, looks like just a red parallel. For some reason the sell sheet and Beckett checklists don't mention parallels for the inserts (only for the autograph versions of the inserts). Carboardconnection suggests that there's a #/5 "pristine" parallel for the inserts, but I think they're just mistaken.
Nice card btw. |

These are actually the Pristine Parallel. It’s the same design as the base encased cards and the Dual auto pristine parallels. The pack odds also notate them as the pristine parallel as well. |
