Kind of deceptive chart. Those same moments worth 1bil last year are probably worth closer to 50mil today.

Those 100,000's of moments added since then are the extra 400mil.

Really sad if you think about it. If Dapper only specialized in NBA and used all their resources just on TS, TS would be in a much better place today.

Now dapper has all failing platforms that suck resources out of TS.

also there's no such thing as 'house money.'

House money is the pile of chips belonging to the casino in front of the dealer, also being watched over by: pit boss, floor boss, shift boss, eye in the sky.

Well, at least they learned some lessons and are doing a better job at building UFC Strike.

I don't think it's ever gonna get huge but I'm pretty sure the percentage of people collecting is higher than in TS.

It's not about being "wrong", the value shows thats the case already, but people just don't feel comfortable losing the money they put in.

Also, sure that's not guaranteed & the value could plummet to zero, but many users don't feel that way & don't feel panic selling is "their" solution either.

Crypto as a whole is crap right now too.
Wait until Uncle Jerome starts QE around this time next year....crypto and other blockchain stuff will bounce back. Not until then.

I don't blame Dapper for the crypto crash (obviously) but they've made a ton of terrible decisions and haven't done much to improve Top Shot

It was greed. Like issuing 200,000+ of one Dwyane Wade moment and increasing common runs to 60k.

It's funny that they are doing a Tyler Herro crafting challenge and you have to burn 50 of those Wade Vintage Vibe moments.

Every single person in this thread could have done a better job than Dapper managing TS's growth.

Just sad to see the great opportunity Dapper had go down so far.

WHERE WILL TS BE NEXT YEAR ?

You must not have been around in the early stages. The OP on here turned like 20k into like 20 million. Most of us were in fact playing with house money for months.

What's worse is that it was $2k in to $20 million.

One of the easiest pumps in history surely

with 1,000,000 more moments? yikes

I think an important number should be the # of moments in the market.

As of right now they have issued 36,783,861 moments (source: https://intangible.market/moment_stats/)

That works out to an average of $12.55/moment. Let's see how that plays out over time with the new moments that are added.

Onlyfans thots issuing their own line of non fungible artwork was the Bat signal to get out of NFT's.

Well that was the confirmation signal after the OG signal of idiots who thought they'd become centi-millionaires by doing no work based on a few top shot sales.

I would like to know how many people actually became millionaires from this. Not on moments or Dapper balance, but in actual dollars.

I know a lot of folks in this thread cleared 4 or 5 figures (and I think grade and other might have cleared low 6 figures) but I still don't know if anyone got over a million. I remember a top account (don't remember the name) who was big into NFT and sold their moments pretty much at the peak so that could be one.

There were plenty.

I searched a few big accounts. Some got greedy and held on too long and their profit dropped.

Libruary on here had spent $2k and the return was something ridiculous. $20 mill

Even now his account is $2 million.

And to be honest, even though it was a gross pump (even though I still like TS and do think it will bounce back), if we had if listened to libruary when he started the pump thread we could have been wealthy too.

Luka bubble 3 for $1! The thing went to like $2000 if I remember correctly.

Even now it's $140 so if you bought enough of S1.

Wild times.

So S3 is coming to an end and I'm not eligible.

If TS want to bounce back they need to let everyone in again.

Go back to what worked and get rid of all the looking after the "whales" and just give everyone an even chance.

Just moronic.

Not eligible for what? The pack tomorrow? If so, you only need 60 trade tickets...there's no score requirement for the general queue. Still have a day to do it.

What I don't get about the trade ticket thing is that I need to trade in moments to have a chance to get one of these packs.

If I trade in my moments and don't get lucky, then I did it for nothing.
