I know feedback after a certain point, isn't releavant........
Recent feedback somewhat matters though. Question, how much feedback as a seller and a buyer do you think you never receive? I always leave feedback as a buyer. As a buyer, so many of the sellers never left me feedback. I'm certain since 1999, I've lost out on hundreds of + feedbacks. How important is feedback for you? |

As a seller, I leave feedback for all buyers the day I ship their item. I would estimate about half the buyers do not leave feedback for me once they receive the item.
Edited to add: I mostly sell on ebay and not many purchases. |

I think you can see how many feedbacks you've left for others on your my Ebay page, opposed to how many you've received.
I know I left a ton more than I've received. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk Last edited by Astros19; 07-12-2022 at 03:54 PM. |

As a seller I leave feedback when I run the shipping label.....I estimate about 50% of my buyers return it.
As a buyer I leave feedback the day whatever I purchased arrives....I never look to see if the seller left it for me. Here on BO I'm almost always a buyer.....I'm guessing about 25% of the sellers I buy from leave feedback....on BO I only return feedback received. |

Thank you!
21,115 Left 11,313 Received Score ~8500 Lots of feedback left on the table. I guess multiple quantity purchases are calculated into the left/received values

Yeah but you need an updated store for that feature right?

I'd use automatic if it had: leave after I ship the item option.

1,239 feedback received As a seller, I have automated feedback to buyers only when they leave me feedback. If eBay frowned upon not leaving feedback for buyers as soon as they pay, they wouldn't allow you to automate feedback given to buyers that way. |

I always try to leave feedback. It's a generic comment but I think it matters. If I have a really bad experience, I leave negative feedback. I think I have only done it two or three times, one for the seller shipping a dummy card so as to not fulfill a low auction and the other two were for selling damaged cards that weren't disclosed and very obvious upon receipt, both of which I think is valuable to other people purchasing from a specific account.

Don't know, don't care. People who have over 100 feedback or so who email and ask for feedback are weird IMO.

As long as sellers can't leave negative feedback for buyers, the whole system is worthless.
If, as a buyer, you have 100 good transactions, and 10 where you either don't pay or make an unwarranted return, that makes you a TERRIBLE buyer in my mind. In eBay's eyes, it's 100 percent perfect feedback. I see no reason to participate in a system that doesn't offer a true picture of what's going on. It's not just pointless; it's actually deceptive. |

I just wish eBay would do a couple things to combat this: 1. Give negative feedback instead of non-payment "strikes" (whatever the hell those are) 2. Force those with "strikes" to pay upon completion of an auction. That could either be from a card on file, or make them fund an account or they can't bid. |
