Why don't you ever post in the Panini NFT thread if you think those are such great investments? You're always in the Top Shot thread for some reason.

Why are Top Shot people so butt hurt when someone talks about another NFT product here? Not like there's much to talk about in terms of Top Shot, I wish I had kept my market cap predictions somewhere because I remember this time last year being told how dumb I was for thinking the market cap would continue to go down even once the season started.

I don't know Bobo you tell me since you have all the answers. Pretty sure people weren't saying you were dumb...just annoying.

I don't know, maybe its because this is a thread about the Top shot product.

It's like being in a Nike thread & someone consistently talking about Reebok, when there is clearly another thread for Reebok if you want to talk about that.

Removing 600,000 moments is a smart move but too late. There’s zero buzz on this any more. Hope all the folks here who sunk in serious money were able to get out.

Apparently, its a new way they will award secured chances to purchase packs without having to join a queue.

There is loot rare/legend pack dropping next week for 60 trade tickets (5% legend/95% rare) & for that pack they have a various amount of packs secured for collectors who fell into various categories. (For EX: NLL members, 1000 random international collectors, 1000 people who joined the last 5 legendary drops etc)

People can't get out now. Prices are too down where people would lose a ton. One would have had to do it while it was still spiking, but most didn't sell then because it wasn't negative. Just the way it goes.

I have on 3 moments left that haven't sold, total value per moment ranks is $6. All in all I bought 83 moments on the marketplace and got the rest through packs. I have sold 260 total moments and my final profit was +$517.25. At one point I was "up" about $1700. Glad I was able to get out with a profit but I wish I would have jumped ship sooner.

From almost $1 billion in market cap in February to $462 million now and that includes the 10's of thousands of new moments added in the time frame.

I actually like the 60 trade ticket idea. They just implemented it months too late.

I still remember the pumpers here one year ago talking about Top Shot would pop off again once the season started. This thing will hit $300 million before it hits $500 million I'd bet.

That's the worst excuse ever. Something is better than nothing, or waiting as you're hoping it "comes back". It's ok to admit you're wrong, it's quite another thing to remain wrong.

Sunk cost fallacy. Also, with the way people talked on here, nobody put in any of their own money, it was all house money. Always knew that was a flat out lie.

Still amazing there's a $462MM market cap for this, if you step back and think about it.

I'm still of the mindset that there is a long term market for TopShot, provided the project doesn't get abandoned by Dapper or by the NBA at some point. I just don't know how much more air needs to be let out before it gets to the point where it can start growing again. Maybe there's another 80% ways down to go. But there's a floor somewhere.

Just sharing the sentiments I have read.

People's accounts were fine, then the crash started to occur & people were like I'm not going to sell now at the bottom, but it showed them how volatile it is, so they are just waiting till it goes back up to sell. It's not about being "wrong", the value shows thats the case already, but people just don't feel comfortable losing the money they put in.

Also, sure that's not guaranteed & the value could plummet to zero, but many users don't feel that way & don't feel panic selling is "their" solution either.

Crypto as a whole is crap right now too.
