I get it's a good time to sell if you held for a couple years. And congrats and hope you get paid. But some of these listings as a buyer of Yordan are now insulting and way too extreme.

Let's keep it reasonable with reasonable increases off prior sales!! Don't try and rip off buyers.

Not too much up. I estimate about 1.25x to 1.75x. But it depends alot on the brand. rwperu34 posted he's about 2x up which he can respond too. But I think is focused on Bowman prices.

I am just frustrated with some recent asking prices that have no reflection to sold comps. I guess I should just ignore them. But when I see asking prices 7x to 10x sold comps it bothers me.

Unfortunately, there's a lot of bozos like that across the entire card landscape on eBay. It's aggravating.

Yordan is locked in at all levels. He just seems to be at peace at the plate. I'm in awe of him hitting that homer today as the crowd was chanting MVP. Crazy.

Ebay has always had those BINs that are just massively far off. And I guess those people just sit on the cards forever, because they won't move.

BTW folks, BC red is already north of 10K with the premium with 9 days to go. I don't think 12K is gonna happen there...

Love this card. I also love that if you slap an Opening Day emblem on a card, it automatically drops three tiers below the non-OD flagship.

It’s too bad for those who don’t see it, but these OD photo variations are steals.

Late 2020 and early 2021 are vastly different in price.

For his BCA, the highest Price Index entry I have is $375 in April, 2021. Whether he breaks that when a re-do the index next week is going to be close.

That was up from $200 in November 2020. Which is also where he was in November 2021. Since then he's up 1.75x-2x in a market that is certainly down.

His common stuff (2020 base/chrome/refractors) is down by at least 50% from the peak, if not more. I know this because I spent more money on Yordan during that time frame than anybody. It's going to make it tough to get the "win".

One notable exception to that is the 1985 Chrome Insert. For whatever reason those are selling for the same or more than TC #200 right now. I've noticed similar with the 1983 Devers. Those have to be up 2x-3x from back then. I picked up a lot of 12 for $13 in February 2021 (so not quite the peak, but still above where we are now) at a time when you couldn't get #200 for less than $10.

Agree...crappy thing to do but to be fair its RC Team Color (low #d) Sapphires for the hottest hitter on the planet. Plus there's 170 "watchers" between the 2. Those are not going for "cheap" either way.
