Listen sir if yours sick of the “nonsense” you didn’t have to respond. But I’m trying to be serious. If you are claiming that it being to the side of a one touch hides damage then what about the other ends? Why is the chipping different on the back “sides” of the card? I’ve graded over a thousand cards in the past year. I know that’s not as much as others but it’s enough to understand what I’m sending in. Y’all acting like this is my first card I’ve sent in. This is the first time I’ve posted on this page in all of my grading looking for genuine help and the above is the response I get. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

BTW, the side damage was only masked when I put the card in backwards. The front of the one touch won't hide the edge wear, but the back side of the one touch will. Great way to scam someone with pictures if you want to hide front edge wear. Try it yourself, it is weird.

OP - I think the point you should be taking away from this, rather than "ugh why are these people such trolls," is this: if random folks on the internet, who have absolutely no skin in the game, are this reluctant to believe that PSA damaged your card given the evidence you've presented, then PSA themselves, who have a financial interest in the matter, are never going to look at this evidence and say "yep, we screwed that one up." You're likely to be out of luck here.

That’s fair. I do think that’s the case here which is unfortunate. Maybe my photos aren’t showing everything. I know they weren’t taken to hide anything as those photos were from when I sent it to friends. I don’t gave clearer photos to send to this thread or even PSA. I only have what I truly know the condition of the card to have been in when I sent it. The condition I know my friends saw as well. While I know nobody here directly knows me to vouch for that makes it hard. I guess it just is what it is at this point. The card I got back I wouldn’t have sent in as it would have got a 7 at best. Thanks guys for the input Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The way you are holding the card in the one touch is almost the same as if you had put the raw card down on a white piece of paper. It is hard to see all the chipping in that situation. Now you have the raw card on a black background and all the chipping is fairly obvious as the white contrasts with the black, where in the one touch, the chipping is blending in with the background.
But when you blow up both the one touch pics and the PSA returned card, it is pretty obvious the chipping is in all photos when you compare the same spots, as every other troll on here has said ![]() And when you sent the one touch pics to the "higher end" jordan collectors, they said it would grade well because the background behind the onetouch masked (blended in) all the chipping. They had no reason to think that they were looking at an unintentional optical illusion. I think the moral of the story her is to always inspect cards over a dark background so you can see the white of the card's eyes!!! |

If PSA dropped the card it wouldn't create 45 edge issues on all four sides. |

FYI, don't sub it to SGC, they might call it trimmed, take your grading fee, and slab it authentic.
Try PSA again (will likely N6 again), leave it raw, or try another grading company. Could also slab it authentic w/PSA. |

This card looks just as beat up in the one touch as it does in the card saver.
