6/30 - finally Rec'd - check post 15 for pics if you're interested....

It's a PC Card - hoping for a really sick Mets/MLB patch (Dynasty Gold parallels are the 1/1s).

Will update once I receive from Topps...I was relieved to see the code scratch off without any drama, unlike several other redemptions I've entered recently.

Thank you! Still some sticker shock but I'm excited. Hoping nothing weird happens with the card, but they've been pretty good about turning around deGrom stuff recently.

Does Topps treat 1/1 redemptions with higher priority and better customer service? Just curious. Would hope the answer is yes.

Answer is not one bit. I’m still waiting on a 1/1 Tatis Jr Dynasty from 2020. Customer service has been awful. Worse than panini in some ways.

I recently spent a couple grand on a redemption from Topps and redeemed it so we are in a similar boat.

That's a shame if Topps treats all redemtions equally. They make money on the 1/1 hunt and the extreme high value pull in general from thousands of customers buying boxes. Thus in my opinion on redemptions they have a responsibility to treat these 1/1's and high end pulls as VIP. Seeing how they shipped Phil Hughes a redemption super of Tatis that he shared on his channel a long time ago tells me Topps may not get it.

Topps makes money selling wax. How stupid would they be if they told customers, you'll only get your card this year if it's a 1/1.

Not what I meant at all. I'm simply trying to state Topps should not treat all redemptions equally.

The value of their wax sales is increased from their high value redemptions.

You'd prefer that Topps prioritize certain redemptions above others according to rarity/value. That's the same thing as Topps saying some customers aren't worth as much to them, which is of course terrible business sense.

Well, my 1/1 Gold as well as a /10 I had came in today. Pretty bummed with a laundry tag on a 1/1 in Dynasty - they really used to be much nicer (I have several Silver /5 from past years in my collection that are for sure). Definitely wouldn't have paid what I did for this card, but guess that's the risk with redemptions. Lesson learned.

Thank you, it’s a very nice card and I shouldn’t complain. But of course you always hope for something a little nicer.

I should pick up a /5 though, very good point! Hopefully some others waiting on redemptions will post their new cards up for sale soon.

It was about $1700. Disagree about a laundry tag being a "best case scenario" with a Dynasty 1/1 (just search eBay for examples), but it's a PC card so not like it's going anywhere. Risk you take with redemptions, like I said.

Dynasty has lots of logomen, team logo patches, Nike swooshes, commemorative patches, etc. that I think most would prefer over a laundry tag.

Plenty of laundry tag 1/1s also though, so of course knew it was a risk.

Exactly. No guarantee with a redemption of course, but Dynasty certainly has "nicer" 1/1 game used pieces than a laundry tag of a current player. A previous year had this:
