Default Sunday

I'm guessing the first, but logistically the last day makes more sense for me taking the trip (could spend the evening there but I can't be there in the morning on Wednesday).

If your looking for deals I'd definitely go on Sunday. Yes, some dealers are heading out the door at practically 11am but so what. Some other dealers will be looking to try to salvage the show (and if the show is anything like 2016 in AC it might be the majority of dealers - that show was terrible).

On Wednesday optimism still reigns and there are actually dealers that do the National every year that the first day they are spending all their time selling to other dealers (there are guys that only do the National and literally spend the whole year accumulating stuff to wholesale the first day - then they sit around with their overpriced stuff from 20 years ago and shoot the bull the rest of the week). So I'd pick Sunday - get there early - be fairly direct about looking for deals and enjoy the day.

Wednesday is a short day, only from 4-8 pm. So unless you are wanting to get one of the free autograph guests that day, I would suggest Sunday, as you will have from 10-5 (although some dealers will be packing up by 2 or 3). For $25/30 (depending on if you buy in advance or not), I'd take the more time.

Second that. Dallas show is good, but the National is 10x the size of it. If I go to the National, I'm spending $100-200 a day easily. Most Dallas shows I leave questioning why I paid the parking and admission costs.

I know there must be multiple threads out here some where but I couldn't find any. Could someone please direct me to the posts that involve exchanging outstanding redemptions for points or replacement items in person at the National this year? I have a dozen, honestly thought I had half as many left.

Panini has a counter in their area for this. It's only open certain hours each day and the line is usually REALLY long. Here is their blog post from last year with some of the details (things might be different this year) -

If anyone has redemptions for sale please let me know. I have been trying to buy some low end ones to exchange this year.

So would they have to be entered into Panini's website, or unredeemed?

To exchange they must be in the system for 120 days…and I think ones entered after expiration are turned into points

How's everyone success rate when it comes to selling/trading at the convention? I might take the trip for the first time and bring some cash/slabs with me.

Looking at bringing/dealing cards valued between $5-$20k.

Will there be a map to consult of the interior layout? I'm mostly looking for sealed wax and singles.

How much was Super VIP and what does it come with? I’m just planning for 2023. I figure they won’t jack up the price too much. Maybe.

Where do you go to buy parking passes for the National. I see the link for the $20 parking but I don't see where you can pay for it. I am seeing a bunch of people selling passes but can't figure where they originally got them

Is it worth going on Wedsnesday or is nobody set up yet? It says it is a "sneak peek" event...

I can only make Weds - Fri so I'd love to squeeze some Weds time in if I can / if it is useful.

Wednesday isn’t long time wise so there’s smaller crowd too. It’s a good day to do something with lines/waiting like grading since lines are longer other days.

Everyone will be setup on Tuesday, so Wednesday will be full bore, ready to go. Wednesday is a great day to go. The only drawback is shorter hours.

VIP info and costs are on the NSCC website: https://nsccshow.com/tickets-and-vip

I believe admission pricing has been fairly flat for a while now. I think I paid the same price the last time it was in AC and the 2 shows in Baltimore.

Anyone know anything about the PSA set registry party? Got an email invitation to RSVP, but have never been before. Just wondering if they have had it before and if it's worth attending. Thanks
