Target Online Sales Thread

I've seen tons of bad Panini products around - baseball, Contenders DP basketball, Contenders football. Also all the Series 1 I could want. And local Barnes & Nobles that are still SKU limiting (at one per day) usually have Bowman cellos.

This isn’t accurate pre Covid. There were always product at all Southbay Targets, but in particular the harder to find product was always available at 2-3 of the less traffic stores. Found lots of Chrome Update in both 2018 and 2019 and at multiple stores. Redondo Beach and Torrance Targets were always the worst though. For the past two years every Target has been barren.

I'm up in the Fresno area for work. Lots of cards but nothing worth buying. Still nice to see something on the shelves once in awhile even if I don't want it. lol

Never found anything Prizm or Optic basketball and this was starting in January 2020. Contenders was the most I could find from Pasadena to Covina in February that year.

I should have been looking in South Bay lol but I saw a pack searcher parked in the aisle in Manhattan Beach and didn't want to return.

I don’t know anymore, but always had the best luck at new Targets and Targets in subpar neighborhoods.

My NoVA people. Target Fair Lakes has some retail prizm packs and absolute blasters. The prizm packs are randomly in some other container in the card section… somewhat hidden �� good luck!

Ugh the Absolute blaster was abysmal, got hooked at the chance of an auto or book. The base cards are bleh, even the attempt at a color blast-esque insert EXTREME TEAM is common and bland... and there's no chance at a Kaboom

Yep I traveled to California for work on Thursday and had an ebay search for these boxes and they were ~$300 and like 4 days later when I had time to check, they went parabolic LOL even at $400 I'd still much rather have a sapphire than a <$300 hobby box.

Very true. Got sucked into the "but it's Sapphire" mode of thinking that I swore I wouldn't fall into after picking up 2020 Topps Update Sapphire. Also, the error in thinking that 2021 might do well when considering how 2020 is doing.

HAven't seen any in the wild here at our 1 Target, it seems they haven't restocked in a few weeks- plus our 4 walmart supercenters that restock every Friday haven't been stocked in 3 weeks now. (i'm only speaking of licensed product- there is panini galore- but you know...10 ft. pole, etc)
