100% agree on a lot of cards, but if you are sending in 40 cards and can save $20 per card it may be worth that $800 to send a little bit slower. I think this is where our grade to consign service + spending less gives customers a ton more buying power and ability to scale instead of spending cash or needing to hold cash to pay for more expensive subs.

Im strictly guessing, I think it will be a lot. People have been waiting for a cheaper option and this is cheaper.

Id see that as a Tsunami from our perspective but they would need that to come from multiple people. Id expect they get a ton in to start like with every other level opening. We've also had some key grading products come out recently like Prizm Football.

Gaming cards are allowed.

They know what they can handle so they are taking it on. It makes complete business sense.

The key thing is that this should not take away from any grading on the backlog. They want to have these ready to go when they backlog is gone instead of clearing the backlog and having nothing for the graders to do.

this seems purely a play to grab a ton of base prizm fb rookies that would otherwise have gone to BGS or SGC. I think we eventually settle in at a lower price point with a a higher DV.

I think the timing works out that way but if you look at our number in R&ID they don't have much left there. So they probably just wanna keep the wheel turning.

Yeah they have hired so much and built up a massive workforce they can’t afford a slow down, especially in CA with labor laws. If you let go of 50 or more employees without total shutdown in a 30 day period you get fined and put on some probation thing.

Is there a cap on how many we can send in for one order? I believe it was mentioned no cap but wanted to verify before I submit tonight. Estimating between 150-175 cards to give a better idea.

Is the 1996 year cutoff inclusive or exclusive of 1996? Can I send cards released in 1996 or can we only send cards from 1997 or later?

Has others have probably stated here and other places, $299 isn't an absolute...if you get a 10 that goes for $500, it most likely won't get upcharged...just don't send in cards that make it look like you are trying to screw the system

Added benefit of being a member. Also, and this is just my experience, you're more likely to get hit with an upcharge in a group sub order than in a self submitted one.

My guess is that they heard the public feedback and decided to change it. I sent a note to my rep so I can't confirm it but wouldn't make a lot of sense if they had 2 different DV's for same level.

$30 is a good sign. I'm sticking to my guns that $15 grading is available in Q1 2023.

I've got a few cards that would be worth it at $30, but since I'm 100% baseball I don't want to be getting submissions back in early December. That gives me at least two more months to gauge how the worst of the PSA deluge affects prices.

I would rather send this through Josh & Team but I am a CC member and see no option on my account for Value submissions.
