Yea...that's a great mantra and all, but no one needs to see Ric Flair in the ring anymore.

There's a saying in boxing that the cornerman is there to save a fighter from himself. Ego won't accept defeat in some people. Ric has a heart condition, and he can't move in any way that would provide quality entertainment in the ring. He needs to be saved from himself and have someone there to throw in the towel. Sign some autos, take some pictures. Shame to anyone who wrestles with Ric at this point forward.

He's 73 years old and with all his health issues no one can expect him to put on a decent match. Heck it's likely more dangerous for him to be in the ring taking any kind of bumps.

Its flawed logic that because someone *wants* to do something they shouldn't be discouraged to do it or people can't be concerned. If I wanted to jump off the empire state building wearing bird wings I would hope someone that cared about me would try to talk me out of it, not say 'well its your life man, good luck.' And at worst I'd hope they'd be concerned about it.

Its perfectly understandable that his fans would be concerned about his health, no one wants to see their favorite have a medical situation during a match.

don't see how you think people are 'haters', everyone is mostly concerned about his health. This is NOT a smart idea for someone who just a few years ago was in a medically induced coma and since then has had other major health issues
