"Facing Nolan" Documentary in Theaters Tonight

Just noticed this while searching for Maverick times. Looks like a pretty good documentary with a live QA tonight with Nolan for those lucky to be able to go.

Reserved my ticket last week when I saw it was coming out. Absolutely cannot wait - not sure I'll stick around for the Q&A just because it may not work out timing-wise, but thanks for adding that because I wasn't aware.

Hands down my favorite player of all time. I still remember being elated when my mom got was able to use her work connections to get me a personalized signed ball from him. One of the few things I still have from my childhood. There will never be another one like him.

For those interested, tix (at least in my area) are $15.00. Fathom Events usually does stuff like this as a one-night, one showing only until wide release (if a pic gets one), so the prices are usually higher.

I will definitely watch this when it comes out!
I was only 4 years old and obviously don't remember it, but I saw Ryan pitch when he was in high school.
His team from Alvin Texas was playing the team from Brenham Texas where we lived. My older brother remembers it as he's 5 years older than I.
Somewhere I have a Sports Illustrated with an article talking about that game and how huge the crowd was that showed up to watch him pitch.
I need to dig that out of storage some day.
