Anyone watching Night Sky on Amazon? I'm on episode 3 and not sure what to think of it.

The 7 Lives of Lea on Netflix is pretty solid. Kind of Quantum Leap meets 13 Reasons Why involving a teen trying to solve the murder of a young man that happened 30 years ago in Southern France.

Shining Girls on Apple+ has been pretty interesting. Elisabeth Moss is good in everything, and it's a pretty trippy story so far.

That is a good show. I was glad to finally learn about the nature of the killer's abilities last week.

Apple+ doesn't have nearly as many original series as most of the other platforms, but the quality of their average show may be higher as a result.
Just a few of their continuing series I'm enjoying include "Servant", "Physical", "Foundation", "For All Mankind", "Severance", "Invasion", and probably most of all, "Ted Lasso" and "Mythic Quest".

4th episode in on Under The Banner of Heaven. I had a family connection to the Mormon religion when I was a kid/teenager and this is reminding me about how secretive it was.

Yup, also a good show. Andrew Garfield is an amazing actor, and has terrific rapport with his detective partner, played by Gil Birmingham. Sam Worthington, Wyatt Russell, and Billy Howle were very well cast as the main brothers. The real-life youngest(?) Culkin brother, Rory, absolutely chewed the scenery while he was in police custody, to chilling effect.

Two episodes left, I think, and we might meet Brother Onias.

Brother introduced me to the British show Taskmaster. I do like the format of the show.

I am a huge fan of Taskmaster. What series are you on? I have a place to get the most recent episodes just a few hours after they air in England.

We Own the City finished up last night. Definitely give it a watch if you enjoyed The Wire.

Shoresy was great. Six episodes went too fast for me, but I loved it.

I'm a big fan of the Letterkenny humor so this is a quick easy watch

I wanted to like Night Sky, but the first season was slow as hell with zero background development.

Wheel of Time was interesting, I'm a sucker for those kinds of fantasy shows. Britannia as well, glad there's a few seasons of it to go for me.

The Man Who Fell to Earth was inadvertently funny in a way, at least for the 2 free episodes they put on Prime.

Just watched the first season of The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix which was pretty good.

Checked out the 1st season of Outlaws with Christopher Walken on Amazon Prime, also pretty good.

Top Boy on Netflix was pretty good as well.

Agreed. Very much liked the Lincoln Lawyer. Not a huge fan of this season of Stranger Things though. With the exception of the Hopper storyline.

I just watched all six episodes of 'Pistol' by the guy who did Train Spotting. Great insight about the Sex Pistols.

I'm late to the party starting Suits on Amazon (free first season) and it's amazingly good.... nothing to do with Meghan Markle. (there are plenty of better extras in this show). I love both leads and the way they mirror each other's strengths and weaknesses. I think only season 1 is free so damnit Amazon is going to be bleeding me dry soon.

i finished this and have mixed reviews. it felt less “hollywood” and more of a documentary feel in a way. makes me wonder if baltimore is as bad as most films portray.

Almost finished with the first season of Mr. Mercedes. It does drag at times but still pretty good.

I was wondering the same. That all of this in the show did happen, and then the books and the shows about them, yeah, they seem to really be that bad.

I watched the first episode of Ms. Marvel this morning. It wasn't terrible but it is definitely geared towards a younger demographic than mine.

I enjoyed it quite a lot. Yeah it skews a bit younger but you could say the same about Spider-Man Homecoming.

Two episodes into the second season and Mr. Mercedes has already flown off the damn rails.
