My hope is that they are under promising and over delivering, as these orders were taking only about 30 days before they lifted the allocation event limits.

I don't believed they changed anything with the times. The turnaround time was always quoted at 90 calendar days during the allocations, they just were taking much less time.

kind of disappointed with the grade. I got a PSA 7 base set charizard.

i expected it to be an 7-8, but i figured it was going to get an 8 because it was really clean. only thing holding it back was a very very faint scratch in the holo (couldn't see it unless you were in a certain light) backdoor method showed it being an 8 as well, so they must've downgraded it in QA.

regardless, i'm just happy it's encased now. might resub it later once prices drop.

i still remember pulling it as a kid. i pulled it while i was in a car. i was so stoked, i held it up to the passenger window in hindsight i probably shouldn't have done that, cause i probably could've had a shot at a 10.

I used the registry trick beforehand to see grades and they pretty much lined up with what I got. Pleasantly surprised with a few of them, and some I regret sending in. I also messed up with a few setting min grades on, so I have about 5 that didn't get graded. Lesson leared. BUT it was my first ever submission since coming back into the hobby and I've since learned to carefully look over cards before submitting!

I would share results, but I'll wait until they come in.

Damn. Still no movement and Order received by PSA on 4/13/22 and others with exact or near same dates getting orders back with more cards. Mine was just 8 cards. What is the deal?

My first economy even order went super fast about 1.5 months from the time it left my door until the time they arrived back at my door. Still hoping they drop their price soon. I have so many cards I need to grade but it’s tough to justify the $50/card price point. Has anyone heard when they’re expected to lower the price? I’ve heard that’s their plan.

Yeah man SGC has been great. I just can’t bring myself to send them anything too crazy as the value just isn’t there. I do like them though and the cards come back so fast.

Yeah, for resale value it usually doesn't make sense. And some cards don't go well with the Tux.

I've sent a few more valuable cards to SGC but they are either ones I plan to hold for a while (wanted to get them slabbed fast, can always resub to PSA) or thicker cards that PSA seems to be harsher on.

It's pretty much inevitable. Just a matter of how many uncapped $50/card orders they will capture in the near term. Then it's a matter of seeing a big or gradual step down.

Reach out to them about your CRC. I got one stuck at the beginning of the year, contacted them, and it was at my doorstep in about 3 days with an apology PSA "Auto" pen, and PSA slab long box.

Agreed, right now they are still grading around 600K cards a month to clear the last of the backlog. That’s a lot of volume to be made up and they sure as hell aren’t getting that many at $50/Card.

Emailed twice and called. Only thing they've said was "CRC has received an influx of orders and are backed up at the moment" and wouldn't give me any sort of ETA. Not sure what else I can say, hate to be the person that freaks out on a random customer service rep to get more info but feels like a squeaky wheel situation.

So today they emailed me back saying express estimated turnaround times are 30 days (mine has been sitting in R&ID for 42) and then 30 minutes later I got an email that it had moved to grading. Seems like the squeaky wheels get the grease...I wish it didn't work like that though.

Sad poppage. I swear, submitting at the regular service level is pointless. ROI on an order like this is looking like 5-8%. Not even worth the time of submitting.

4/13 order just popped. Got murdered in the grades. All were RCRs from a company I trust and have had great success with. 2 8s, 6 9s and 2 10s.

Didn’t get an upcharge for a superfractor auto psa 10 so that’s nice.
