Default 2017 Heritage Judge Action Variation - Reprint? Help w/ Card?

I bought a lot on eBay and one of the primary cards was a 2017 Topps Heritage Aaron Judge Action/Image Variation.

With the card in hand now, it appears to be fake unless I am missing something. Both the front and back of the card are glossy/smooth unlike typical Heritage cards which are smooth on front and have a rougher finish on back. Not really sure I can show it well in pictures - but here it is.

Is this just a fake or something else? The gentleman I purchased it from said it came out of a CVS repack or something like that.

Would be an odd one to fake and doesn’t look like a flip stock or yellow back from that year so I guess it’s plausible they were significant cards at one point.

I opened a lot of 2017 heritage and there were definitely a lot of variations in the yellow backs.i don't recall them being glossy on the backs ever. put it in the light and catch it at an angle. I wouldn't think its exactly a popular card to fake.

The back and front feel the same - so not a flip stock. Both sides are smooth and give a glossy finish under light.

Nice card for a repack, if it’s real. I doubt it came from an actual pack in one since actions are hobby only. I haven’t seen hobby packs in these cheap repack jobs they sell. They do include a toploaded decent card in some. I just can’t believe they would put a card like that in there. It’s been a decent card since day one.

Put it on ebay for $250 or best offer, and have a friend buy it for $1.00

It will have to be sent to ebay authenticators and they would tell you if its real or not
