I'm in STLD $58.50 for 175 shares. Price is at $97 today. Should I bail?

Got into this because they are building a 1B facility in Texas just down the road from the Tesla truck facility. Rumor was STLD would produce all the steel for the Tesla truck.

But would I be stupid not to cash in over $6,500 in profits

Maybe just trim your gain and enjoy the best of both worlds. You get some $ back and also keep some in in case it continues to rocket.

Looks like Netflix is going to follow the rast and add a ad plan. Hulu and the rest get around 80% of revenue from the cheaper plans plus the ad revenues. People here complain about commercials but most are willing to pay for them.

I think the big difference is that Hulu and IMDB (and others) had ad plans from day 1. So people signed up for them knowing what they were getting into. With Netflix, people have become so engrained to watch what they want without commercials that it might be harder for that user base to adapt instead of just canceling outright.

It’s been a bad week for streaming…. Looks like CNN+ is shutting down just one month after it launched. CNBC reported the service was drawing less than 10,000 users a day.

Here’s the wiki… https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/CNN%2B

It was a failed attempt to offer a paid streaming version of CNN (I think $2.99 a month) that will go down as a pretty big New Coke-like failure.

This month-old Tweet didn’t age well.

Based on the tweet. CNN is dying a slow death now. 1 month. Lol

I think it would be funny if they did a retrospective clip show on the final day.

Sold most of my Verizon yesterday before earnings, in and out there with about +10%. Sold out of PSTH completely for now.

Now up to 5 shares of GOOGL for this little guy.

Makes me sad for Rex Chapman and Jemele Hill. Hope they find employment

A paid streaming service of CNN? They'd have to pay me to watch their channel and it probably wouldn't be enough.

Sounds like TWTR and Musk are nearing a deal. Still a little bit of meat on the bone before he takes the company private at $54.20 share.

Exactly what I was thinking.... but your shares don't convert or anything, so it's still just an estimated value, right?

If we all pool our money together we could probably still afford dinner tonight.

Powell going to surprise the world w/ a 75 point hike in May to make sure that dinner won't be a thing anymore.

It would crash it.

Powell believes he can walk softly thru this and will not deviate. IDK if he's right but I do know he will not do anything unexpected.

Netflix dropped below $200 today. Keeps setting 52 week lows.

So many competitors to Netflix in that sector. I mean they still stand out but not by much. I use quite a few different ones including Netflix. Does anyone watch live TV anymore besides sports? That's pretty much the only reason i have cable.
