I hope that Bron, Gable, or a surprise wrestler from this year turns into a mega star, but historically speaking that hasn't been the case. WWE leans heavily on Legends for value in these sets as their current stars have none. That's not ideal.

I agree with this take. For some reason, Vince loves to shove one wrestler down our throats for an extended period of time until he finds a new "love interest". Rinse and repeat.

Decided to rip two of my boxes. Hit the Sasha auto, Hogan Silver and Stone Cold Hyper in the first box so not near my value back. Glad I decided to rip the second as I got The Rock and Goldberg /149 and also hit a HHH Silver Prizm Auto.

What drives me absolutely bonkers about stuff like this is THESE CARDS SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE PRODUCT TO BEGIN WITH. This is Panini looking at EA and Activision and saying, "Those companies sell DLC to their customers after charging them $60, how can we do something similar."

Panini logic 101 strikes again! Sell tens of thousands of WWE Prizm hobby boxes to their good friends for $120 a box. Sell WWE Prizm White sparkle packs for a minimum of $250 a pack to the average buyer. Genius!

Can you blame them if people are slobbering over themselves to spend $100+ per card on this? Keep in mind, they're not numbered so they be to 20, 30, hell, they could even be to 40 each.

Saw Dave and Adam's lowered their buy price on this. All the steam has left the sails for now, question is, does it pick back up?

Panini once again throwing away a dollar to save a penny. Do I blame them for giving away hobby and billions of dollars of profit to the 0.0001% the last two years while trying to get every last penny on product the average person can buy? Yes I do.

If the people running day to day Panini operations had half a brain or aren’t getting payoffs here is what they should do. The big 3 are creating these sky high hobby presale prices out of thin air. On product Panini hasn’t shipped them yet. What Panini should do is charge these groups 80% of whatever preorder price these guys are charging. What do you think would happen? I can sure as hell guarantee you those presale prices nose dive immediately. Big 3 aren’t going to put something like 2021-22 Noir basketball at $3750 a box presale if they have to then pay $3000 a box for it. That and many other presale prices would nose dive over 50%. But why would Panini want the extra profit when they can just let groups like the big 3 continue to presale virtually every hobby product for 1.5-10 times MSRP before receiving it in the mail from Panini?

Anyhow...rumor is Prizm hangers and blasters will be coming out in full force in the next week. I think that'll happen soon, and the ebay prices will keep dropping with bills due and supply going "up". I say that with a grain of salt, as I don't think I'll ever see them in store. I think it's a 30 second window on Target.com or hit ebay next week.

Full force was a 3am drop? I have to think that was just the initial pass. Still....$15/$30 hangers/blasters means I'd personally wait for them to drop to $25/$45. $20/$40 would be awesome and worth saving gas taxes and time.

correct. 3am was only the hanger packs and i bet they dropped 20k packs. they were in stock for 2 hours while people looped the #@#@#@#@ out of them.

blasters were tuesday morning, not 3am.

i didn’t even get up until 8am pst and i checked out 4 different times using the app as they were constantly stocking in waves. likely as they canned orders.

there will probably be restocks as they always have returns and cancels to liquidate, but those WERE the big drops for target, every one following will be smaller. Wally is next, the majority of their inventory goes through their stores.

My stores are horrible. I gave up WallyWorlding and feel a little extra is worth saving time amd gas, plus they get delivered to my door. Prices aren't quite there yet...but hoping they will be soon. And that the hobbies go to 2k so I can sell one of mine!

i don’t buy from walmart as their prices are too high. wwe blaster was 28.50 from target with red card, walmart will be 34.98.

just be prepared for target to be a one and done more or less. this isn’t a product that will restock week after week in big quantity.

the hanger packs will likely be available around $20 in local deals, blasters will probably not dip under $40 consistently.

Will see what long term holds for this, either hobby or retail. it boomed out of the gate, but prices tanking now. would love to see a $2k hobby box, but not sure if it’s in the cards.

Maybe their estates currently aren't under any kind of Legends deal?

Only two things I can think of for Taker is it was either a purely creative decision, or he personally has the rights to his image/likeness, while WWE has the rights to the name. He was in Topps products though, so I'm leaning towards creative decision.

For Undertaker, it must be the former, creative decision - his autos include his likeness.

Unless base were printed before the autos and the ability to get his likeness was after that but before autos were printed - which doesn't really make sense since these are all sticker autos.
