PSA probably wouldn't even give that card a grade. The lower bottom corner missing color is very typical of being in a non-recessed screw down holder. We don't need any more grading companies and they will be out of business as soon as PSA opens back in the fall and PSA/SGC/BGS/CSG have cheap grading options that these startups can't match. These companies can survive at $30, but they can't survive at $15. We don't need any more grading companies.

It was a generous PSA 5. It's worth a lot less as a 6 of whatever that company is.

It never got a PSA 5. That was an example given by another poster with a card in better shape. Everyone gave good advice to submit to PSA/SGC and the grade would either be authentic altered because of the screw down possibility or a grade around 4. The OP got fantastic advice here in the forums and then someone that doesn't know the hobby got him to submit his card through a startup. The card lost value by being in this holder. Authentication is very important with a card like this, and people will see an iPhone grading case and stay away.

It shows you were one of 5000 submissions that paid $149 to get a card graded by a start-up instead of PSA.
