It's a cute thought, but LOL on preparing for Dallas w/o Luka. There is a bit of gamesmanship here but bottom line is Luka is going to be out for some period of time/games.

"What do we do if Bertans is in the starting lineup" is unlikely to be a thought.

At his age it should be 7 to 10 days.

If Dallas can be 1-1 without him that would be huge.

How moronic to play the guy in the final game. Another reason why chasing seeding etc is dumb.

Not worth the risk at all.

Stupid interweb.

Its professional basketball and the playoffs so every team is looking for any type of advantage no matter how big or small. Which is why I responded and disagreed to the other post that said "if he was fine they would say he is fine" Never said that Utah is going to scared of a lineup without Luka, just saying that Dallas being very vague on the the injury puts a little more pressure on Utah to be prepared of any scenario

That would be a very bad thing for Snyder to do. Utah will prepare for Luka and only Luka, and adjust to anything else after the fact. Simply a waste of time practicing on unknown scenarios.

Dallas might get a quarter or even a half of uncertainty from Utah but it's all downhill from there.

Ok, makes sence, why would they need contingencies.

Luka got robbed, NBA Player of the Month for March and April is Nikola Jokic, with there great record of 12-9 during that span compared to Luka and the Mavs going 14-5!

Stationary bike is a great sign. I’m more optimistic than I was yesterday.

I want Luka to play game one too, but I also don't mind him missing a game or two as well. I want them to be sure he won't re-injure himself and make the injury worst.

Maybe he can be 100% for game 3.

I haven't seen anything official yet. Just a bunch of reporters who regurgitate each others stories.

Even with a strained calf you can still ride a bike
regardless of the severity. I wouldn’t read too much into that. It really comes down to how badly he injured it. I strained my calf last year and riding a bike actually helped stretch it out but when I got back on the court to play it was a whole different story.

Mavs can still smash the Jazz. Unfortunate, but have to get this done.

It sucks.. but it is what it is.

Maybe this can make the Mavericks stronger - lets try to get 2 at home and go from there!

Unfortunate, but hopefully they bring their A game on D and Brunson, Dinwiddie, Bullock can get a win.

Just put 5 shooters out there at all times and someone will get an open look each possession Gobert is in. Then gotta hope Mitchell doesn't go off for 50.
