Not for just 1 of each, you trade in 5 of each base for a rainbow foil card. Complete that set and you get to redeem them for the hikaru Shida champion achievement card. The rainbow foils are still yours and can be sent home or traded.
There are 3 other sets to chase and get the achievement for, one of which nets you a Chris Jericho auto. Redeem the 4 achievement cards gained and you get a choice of a Jon moxley champion auto or a set of 4 printing plates of various inserts. The plates are risky so most are doing the moxley auto. Of course there are limited amounts of the Jericho auto (35), moxley auto (25) but there aren’t a ton of people going hard after them like more popular products. I got both of mine this morning. It was a tough couple days of getting the Wednesday in action set completed but we got there… |

Hold up... none of the base cards are physical cards? Just bought a box and it looks like the only transferrable cards are the inserts, parallels and auto/relic cards?! I can't see anything in the description stating that the cards are digital-only. Am I missing something?

That is the dis-advantage of buying ePack, but the advantage is that you can transfer to COMC. The 5 exact base cards of AEW gets you a Rainbow card that isn't in any packs, or boxes.

Then you have to pay to have each card shipped to you, no combined shipping discounts. It all adds up real quick. Its meant more for case buyers or people with tons of cash to throw around to chase hits and achievements who care less about base. Not as much for the casual pack/box buyer. |

Did the math, I've opened 29 epacks so far and still no auto. Only numbered card is Dustin Mat Relic /50. Hard times.

I've done about 2 1/2 boxes and no relic or autos....best hits were Wednesday in Action and an Exclusives parallel.

i think part of the problem is people only show their epack breaks when they hit an auto or something and some people are suckered into believing that since they never see the bad breaks, that epack must be loaded with autos. if people would say "i opened 40 packs and hit this one autograph" it would be a better representation of how the odds are on epack

Expecting an autograph in only 29 packs when you can see the odds are 1:140 just is a lack of research on what you are buying. |

That's always the side effect of people posting things like "I opened three packs and got two autographs!". I'm not saying they are lying, its absolutely possible, but it gives people a false hope as the odds are strongly against it. There is nothing wrong with posting that of course, people have the right to be excited when they beat the odds, but those are the outliers and not the norm.

I think e-pack has been great for those buying singles but I just don’t see how it works for those buying the packs / boxes or cases. It just seems that for the price of a case I could buy a gold, rainbow, pyro, canvas and main features set. Then cherry pick 20 or so of my favorite dynamites, 2 or 3 of my favorite exclusives, 4 of my favorite Wednesday in actions, 4 of my favorite autos, and eight of my favorite relics and have money left over.
Is there anything left that you can get in the case that I’m missing? Sure in a case you could hit a low numbered hit of someone huge but you more likely will get four autos you don’t care for. That’s just not I gamble I want to take especially when they are all sticker auto’s. I’m a huge AEW fan and I hope these cards do well, but isn’t the most likely scenario that all these guys keep signing a ton and the majority of the auto’s are all $100 or less in 5 years? Will a Mox auto be worth more then a Dean Ambrose auto? Will fans rather have a first sticker auto of MJF or some type of Exquisite card that probably comes out at some point? I guess the fact that these aren’t sold out yet shows that at $200 a box it’s not a great gamble, and yes I’m just talking my position, and yes I’m disappointed that epack came out at $200 a box but none of that changes the math on it for me and as many times as I’ve tried to get the math to work it just doesn’t. |

Rey Fenix is one of the better in ring wrestlers for AEW, he’s hurt right now as he badly dislocated his elbow when the Lucha Brothers (his tag team) lost the belts to Jungle Express, but should be coming back soon. He’s not going to cut any amazing promos, but he’s super fun to watch in the ring. Congratulations on the great pull.

While ePack predictably tanked a lot of the basic insert stuff (Canvas, etc.,) I've been pleasantly surprised to see the high-end of this set maintain some real market interest. |

I'm new to ePack and only really looking for Brodie Lee cards, but I've been kind of surprised by how many 1/1s have shown up there.
Luckily I was able to make a trade with a board member for the 1/1 Main Features, but two of the printing plates have shown up there as well. Just seems like a high % of low numbered hits not being packed out...

I am new to ePack so I am a little confused on how they do it. How many high end cards (I don't count the printing plates, those seem perfect for ePack) were held out of hobby boxes so they could sell them in ePack boxes? It seems like the answer was A LOT as they clearly held a high number of cards to sell in ePacks. I'm not saying its fraud or anything that serious, but if I purchased a hobby box hoping to pull an Omega for example and 30% of the Omega autographs were being sold via ePack (made up number), my odds were far worse than I may have anticipated of pulling one.
