I'm not sure about Lebron, but I'm pretty sure Jordan has an ownership stake in UD. They're not going anywhere until UD does.

This, absolutely. Everything Ultimate is lower serial numbered on average over SP Authentic. From /100 auto to rookies being /250 (most years).

The Exquisite name is irreplaceable. Panini can try all they want with National Treasures and Flawless... and Fanatics can try all they want to mimic Exquisite with their own high end premium cards, but they can never come close to the originals.

Exquisite, cream of the crop. most get bought and in PC, hoarded and locked up forever. Limited supply, increasing demand causing steady rise historically and years out likely as well.

For sure. I don't remember the last time I ripped UD (or anything else, really). Singles all the way.

I was just talking with someone about the 2008 Epic Signatures Update Set. Those were in Ultimate and fell 1/case in (maybe less). Much better off just buying those singles.

At release price you gotta move Chronology above UD Black imo, I ripped a lot of both and love both. A case of Chrono came with a guaranteed A hit in 2007-08 for about $1k, versus a 6-box of Black for a lot more [and many fewer cards].

Ultimate was a great break when prices dipped to $300 for 4 autos, 7 mem, 1 rookie auto mem, and 4 base.
