wouldn't surprise me if some are indeed stamped "1st edition" - topps is a mess. Dude loading the hopper could have grabbed the wrong stack.

Just don’t know at this point, and that’s probably the one thing I really don’t like about these 582 purchases- you never know the checklist when you’re ordering, and you have a very limited window to decide if you want to take the risk. One auto per box though- at least there’s that

I'm passing on this one. Good price for those who want to open a Sapphire product with a guaranteed auto. I'll save my money for F1 Sapphire. Demand for F1 is through the roof. Even if its higher in price and the print run is more there is a good chance it might still be worth the buy.

Have you opened any ‘21 Update or looked at the 330-card checklist? You’ve basically got the 4 ‘big’ RC’s (Kelenic, India, Vaughn and Baddoo), maybe another 20-25 decent RC’s/Rookie Debuts, and then like 300 cards that are basically just filler.

So yeah, if I’m dropping a buck fifty on a 32-card box of Sapphire, I’d rather have the 100-card Chrome Update checklist than the 330-card flagship Update checklist- much better odds to hit the top cards and avoid wasting my one hit on an Orange Sapphire of Asdrubal Cabrera

A part of me worries we don't get F1 Sapphire presales in the club this year.

Decent price, Chrome Update and Sapphire are a win together. You just need 1 player to excel. The more the merrier though.

Exactly. Same goes for any other product. The more odds of having that one player, the better.

Look at 13-14 NBA products. If it wasn't for Giannis, that rookie class would be horrendous. The top 9 picks are pretty much busts (a maybe on Oladipo) while #10 (CJ McCollum) is decent.

But Giannis singlehandedly carries that year to infinity and beyond.

Am I the only one that’s still skeptical of 2021 Topps Chrome Update Sapphire actually containing 1 auto + 1 parallel per box?

-It doesn’t say so on the surface of the mock-up box, unlike last year.

-The “checklist” page shows checklist of 2020 Topps Chrome Update Sapphire under “2021” title, so while the description of this product mentions the guaranteed auto and parallel, that could all just be a mistake of Topps copy & pasting product description from previous year as well.

Having said that, I still bought 3 boxes.

Me too, after raising or membership fee to 300 and charging new members 600, they should give us a shot at a couple of boxes of F1 sapphire. I was annoyed that we never got a shot at lights out.

Sapphire is MC exclusive. Every Sapphire product will be offered to MC members first. I can’t wait for F1 sapphire!

Not a chance. 2 boxes won't happen because distributors are more powerful. They're going to get first dibs at everything else. Public release won't have much at all.
