Default Shameless return Auto/Memorabilia Showoff - Sean Taylor, Peyton Manning, GU jersey

Hello again -

I mentioned it in the Chris Godwin card thread, but I am getting back into some small time, inexpensive stuff after several years. Over the past few years, I have "added" to my collection by either attic discovery or, for something less cool, inheritance.

Anyway, I wanted to show some of this stuff off. At an incredibly different stage of my life than when I stopped collecting and now I want to turn my focus to showcasing some of this stuff.

First off is something I thnk I posted many days ago, a personalized Peyton Manning auto on UT letterhead from when he was in school. I think my dad knew someone who worked for the athletic department or something? Either way, solid:

I also really like this Montez Sweat jersey. It was worn in the 2019 game against the Giants - the loss that clinched the #2 seed for Washington. Won this through a charity raffle and it is awesome:

Finally, 2 items that came to me through inheritance. My family has been Washington fans as far back as possible/I know. The first is a Sammy Baugh jersey, which is actually a Mitchell & Ness jersey that got signed:

I also have this. I understand the auto will probably be scrutinized, but I have some "evidence" - not that it matters, as this will never leave my family. But this is a Sean Taylor jersey signed in the parking lot after a game. My grandfather had season tickets for the last couple decades of his life and has photos with Sean Taylor, which I take as solid evidence:

Anyway, just wanted to show this stuff off. Would love to see others' stuff.

That auto looks fine to me. Its his much shorter in person sig, just a ST#.

As for Sammy Baugh, I knew dealers that would go out to his ranch in Texas for signings. For a few hundred bucks, he would sign pretty much whatever you wanted. People would really take advantage of him, especially when his Alzheimer's disease started getting bad.

Thanks for that info. Never checked on this overly hard, as I trust the authenticity and also am never looking to move the jersey, but still nice to read nonetheless.
