I doubt if there's ever been any other posters here from Scituate, RI. It's a sleepy little town out in the boonies...
Or maybe us other scituate folks don’t agree with your crappy sentiments

A great player for a few years, that’s all I need to hear. He has won 3 MVP’s and had 4 runner ups and you say a few great years, what a laugh. Sorry to break it to you but a lot of us bought our Trout RC’s many years ago so even with the recent decline in his prices has been no worry to us. Sounds like a lot of sour grapes to me to someone who didn’t have the foresight to buy Trout many years ago.

I do think his speed is on the decline, but to say a player can't be the best player in MLB because he is hurt makes zero sense. I guess Acuna and Tatis can't be the best because they are injured even more than Trout, right?

Saw this news today. Not the worst idea.

Angels manager Joe Maddon told reporters Sunday that he's considering moving Mike Trout to a corner outfield spot to open up center field for Brandon Marsh.

Maddon went on to add that nothing has been decided yet, but the move would make plenty of sense for Trout and the Angels as it would likely put less wear and tear on the franchise cornerstone moving forward. Marsh, the Angels' number one prospect last season after Jo Adell was promoted to majors, batted .254 with two home runs and six stolen bases in 260 plate appearances in 2021.

At this point in his career and for the sake of the team, moving to LF makes the most sense. It takes a little wear and tear off of his body and Marsh is a superior defender to him in CF. I think Trout would be open to it, after all Torii moved to RF to accommodate Trout in 2012.

I agree - let the young stallions run. Marsh and Adell have speed to burn in the outfield.

For sure, Marsh and Adell are fast enough that they can cheat towards left and still cover a lot of ground.

Reading comprehension isn't your strong point. The point was that I doubt if there's ever been another poster here from Scituate, RI. Got it now?

Correct. If you're not playing, you're not the best player. How can you be the best player when you're always riding the bench? Trout could still be one of the better players, but he's got to play more than 36 games a season to be considered that.

So you only defend Trout because you invested in his cards? Got it. Exactly why I'm here. Too many pumpers posting here sitting on Trout cards and desperately hoping to keep interest in a washed up player. Thanks for being honest!

These hard-core troutys will never see past their own cards. I've tried to school these little boys for years. He's won 3 lousy MVP's in probably the weakest era of competition ever.Never led his team to the playoffs and is perfectly content being a loser. He prefers it so he can watch his crappy Eagles team lose in the NFL and chase storms around or whatever other nerdy stuff he does.

Breaking news! Mike Trout sneezed today and pulled a groin muscle! He should be out until mid-July! I guess those PED's are coming back to haunt him!

At first, I thought they were just rabid Trout fans, which would be great. But after awhile, I realized they are all pumpers who are "investing" and speculating in Trout cards. Nothing worse for the hobby than those types...

The irony in this post is out of this world.

You do realize he just said that he's also from Scituate, right? Got it now?

Seriously, people, STOP ENGAGING WITH THE TROLL. Just put him on your ignore list and MOVE ON. And for the love of god, stop quoting him so that those of us who have him ignored don't have to see his babbling anyway.

Between that guy and the guy who lives in the tom brady thread it's getting harder and harder to enjoy some of these player threads

Wrong! I defend Trout because I believe he is the best player in baseball.
