Was watching the 4th q of the Wizard/Pacers on league pass, and the Wizards announcers were over the moon about KP. Was a bit comical at times. This was his first game playing with the Wiz, and they couldn't stop praising the guy.

Was quite funny to listen to.

I think this might work out well for them. That was part of the problem in Dallas. KP wants praised heaped on him day after day. As soon as some of that praise starts shifting to someone else (Luka) he starts to get mopey and it influences his play and… dare I say it, his health.

As long as they keep praising him, the trade would turn out great for them.

This right here says enough for me but Im glad they're happy with it. Dinwiddie has been HUGE and exactly what we needed, a play-maker on his own. Plus it allows Dallas to be able to move Bertans in the off season to free up, in essence, half of the Porzingis contract they would have been stuck with. Once we get Hardaway back watch out! The future is looking bright!

I get that KP was a terrible fit with Luka and his attitude was crap and he has injury problems, but some of these takes are pretty laughable. He has had a solid season and is currently sitting Top 20 in PER. Glad to see him gone but he is far from terrible. I think it will end up as a positive trade for both squads.

What this current Mavs team is doing really speaks to Luka's basketball brilliance.

Last year, most of us were complaining about the lack of a good supporting cast. No one thought THJ, Powell, Kleber, DFS, etc...were good enough pieces. Maybe THJ was a serviceable player who could contribute but he was too streaky to be consistently counted on.

Now all of a sudden Dinwiddie is the answer the Mavs have been looking for? Yeah he's been good so far and has shown flashes in the past. But by far the best "move" that Mavs made the past few months was Luka getting on a diet and work out plan.

I don't know i couldn't figure it out myself. I think Luka maybe thought he got fouled he then kind of tossed the ball at O'Neale and they almost got into it. They had to drag Luka to the locker room.

I really like the guys they’ve got around luka. This team could do some things this year.

So long as luka isnt b*tching or whining constantly, this team is a lot of fun to watch. They really defend well, which is shocking given how bad luka is defensively.

He's better than you think defensively. He's 7th in the league in defensive rating and 1st among all guards.

1/2 a game out of 4th and 3 games back of 3rd with the Warriors loss.

At some point they're going to have to start giving DAL and Luka some recognition in the media. Doncic is averaging nearly a 30 pt triple double since his return Jan 2, and nearly a 33 pt triple double over his last 20 games shooting 40% from 3. The Mavs are winning at like an 80% clip over that time frame.

They have a .774 win percentage over their last 31 games to be precise. It's not like only 5 or 10 games, it's like the 2nd half of the season so far.
