If they did, I won’t only be interested if it were on-card autos.

The future of La Liga -- and El Clasico -- looks very bright, with the likes of Mbappe and Vinicius, and Gavi and Pedri.

Going to be great watching those matchups for years to come.

That goal yesterday was awesome. I've always been critical of him considering he misses more big chances than most top players combined and gets caught offside in goal-scoring moments all the time. But that goal was clutch. If he can convert even just a portion of his big misses moving forward and stay onside more often, his stats each year could be crazy.

Agreed, amazing thing is that he's still so young and still so much that he can improve on.

For a guy who can still improve, check these numbers out:

Mbappe International Tournaments Before Turning age 23 (1 Europa Game/51 Champions League Games):
52 Games, 31 Goals, 21 Assists, 52 Goal Contributions

Messi & Ronaldo Combined International Tournaments Before Turning age 23 (2 Europa Games/68 Champions League Games):
70 Games, 33 Goals, 16 Assists, 49 Goal Contributions

He's Soccer Lebron, if Lebron had the biggest chip already taken care of by age 19.

I'll just ask you off the bat, you answer as honestly as you can.

Do you think Mbappe is better than Messi and Ronaldo?

If not, do you think he has the potential to be the greatest player of all time? - Because that's the only place to be if you answer yes to the above.

Right now? Definitely Yes, he's arguably the best player in the world right now

When each were 22 Years Old? Definitely Yes, see above

At their respective peaks? Definitely No, we are talking about 2 of the 5 greatest players ever (by any measure)

Potential to be the greatest player of all time? More than any other player of the new under-30 generation

Buddy, at 22 years old Messi banged in 47 goals + 12 assists for Barcelona winning the ballon d'or, went on to score 53 goals +27 assists at the age of 23 winning the ballon d'or, and then won the ballon d'or AGAIN at 24 years old scoring 73 goals in one season + 32 assists.

then he won it again at 25... all in a more difficult league.

You're cute, but get the f..outta here.

Why say "you're cute"? It's weird man....I don't know if you just plan to get on here to pick fights or to try to prove that you are the most knowledgable soccer fan on the planet but you continue to make many of us cringe with your comments.

Do you play soccer? Are you a coach? Do you even collect cards???? I don't think I've seen you share one photo or tried to trade with someone on here.
Very confusing behavior

Trying to steer things back on topic, what do you all think is more likely this year: Mbappe lifting the CL trophy with PSG, or a World Cup trophy with France?

@YayNJ, if you can, just please try and be a bit more relaxed in your conversations, and less confrontational? Thank you.

I think PSG win is more likely, I personally feel Brazil is the team to beat in the WC.

a: I used to, yes.
b: no, not for me.
C: Yes, since the 1980's.

As it happens I am a co-owner of a football club though, not that it really matters. You need to lighten up.

he/she doesn't have the guts to come in their real account. maybe lot of enemies here already.

But i got to agree with him that mbappe's ceiling is at the most R9, will be hard to reach messi and cr7.

I just imagine this place as a bar and act accordingly. For me, it's a place to go to have a conversation about things I enjoy. I jump into conversations I like and get to meet some pretty cool people and learn new things while also sharing things I know. Unfortunately there are many different types of people at bars...

Anyway, I'm on board with everyone else. Hopefully we can keep these player threads a little more upbeat. YayNJ, if you want to join in sometime and celebrate with us when a player does good I think everyone would welcome it. Your soccer knowledge would actually be appreciated quite a bit, just maybe be open minded that sometimes other people can be right also. Before you call me a ridiculous name (again), just create a new ID and see how it is to be positive sometimes about anything

Sticking to what I posted earlier. As some of you make it a constant point to belittle non EPL leagues I strictly pulled Champions League numbers because it's the only league that all 3 players played in, seemed fair enough to me. So Messi has a Ballon d'Or by 22, Mbappe has more total career Goals & Assists in similar leagues & competitions as well as the WC already under his belt. This is also still considered Mbappe's age 22 season and it's not even close to over yet.

Dear Lord, please let this come true...

Liverpool think they can lure PSG's Kylian Mbappe to Anfield

Nice goal today. 2 more disallowed for being offsides. PSG fell apart in 2H though and Benzema scored 2 goals in about 10 seconds of game time.

Benzema has been doing this for 14 years straight.

Man against a boy tonight.

Totally agree with this and props to Benzema, but again throwing shade on Mbappe to prop up another player after that game? Geez....

Anyway, Facts:

Mbappe 1st Champions League Knockout stage Hat Trick - 22 Years Old - February 2021

Benzema 1st Champions League Knockout stage Hat Trick - 34 Years Old - March 2022

Boy already did what Man just did
