I prefer Beckett personally.. But $30 a card with a 2week return is hard to beat for cards you don’t have a desire to move!

It's been a year since I ripped some '18 TCU packs and also cracked this BGS-9 I had bought for $9.99:

(8.5 surface, 9.5, 9.5, 9.5)

And today it's a PSA-10 (part of a larger order, but all three that I sent gem'd

Nice. Can't tell from the picture, but did BGS ding it for elbow dimples? PSA doesn't apparently ding for that, but dimples have always been a killer for BGS.

Yup! Link had a couple other pics, all I could find were "features", aka dimples, they look natural, not like a defect or divot pressed into the card. Matched another PSA-10 I already had.

If you don’t have a soto shuffle, what are you even doing in the soto thread?!

I'll get there eventually! I'll sell my house to buy a shuffle refractor next year when I finally get to his 2020 cards.

I did get another hands on hips this week and 1 other monster in mail finally onto 2019 cards!

Soto bowman best refractor psa 10 went for well over $300 on auction, that the first sign of football being over and the baseball hopeful spring explosion coming around?

Damn, gave it away!

My number 1 baseball card in transit.
Nervous! Hope shipping is going smooth.
Hope no turbulence for the plane.
Otherwise I'll go insane.
Hope packaged well.
Time will tell.

Will post in few days!

If it’s for a personal collection, you’re on a tight budget, and there’s no intent to sell then SGC is the way to go IMO. I tried HGA once and wasn’t a big fan. To each there own though!

I prefer PSA but don’t mind SGC slabs at all. They look great with a lot of cards. And I’ve been impressed with how they’ve improved their business over the past year. I plan to submit with them soon.

Agree. I'm looking into SGC for alot of my mid raw Soto for a new submission. Purple heritage type stuff which is still pretty high end but I'm comfortable with just being slab protected long term.

Don't overlook CSG slabs either. They grade incredibly tough.

Bingo. Amazing to me how many slab snobs there are. What many don't know is that CSG was and IS THE comic book grading authority.

You think your single card is tough to grade? Try grading a small book where each page is looked at and considered into the overall grade. Yellowing of the pages? Worn corners? Faded ink? All taken into account.

Then again maybe I do appreciate the snobs as it provides a great CSG discount.

Remember y'all, "collect the card not the slab."

I'll keep the Soto Stadium Club trend going...

2021 Stadium Club Chrome - 1991 Design Variation Auto (Red Parallel #'d to 5)

I've always loved the 1991 SC design, so have been scooping up all sorts of the 91 Design Variations, autos and non-autos.
