Its like going to FedEx/UPS and doing 2 day service and your shipment gets there the next day (had that happen last year). They don't do that all the time or nobody would ever do next day service.

I figure we'll start seeing movement on the early Economy orders by the beginning of March, they're going to push that 3 month window as close as possible.

The FedEx analogy is a bit off In that case they send it in a plane that has limited room, room for just the 2 day packages. The rest go on trucks Those trucks run every day And the items are, mostly, always going to take the same amount of time.
In the case of PSA, there is no plane vs truck difference to account for the difference in time. There is only the artificially created way of just letting too many orders come in for what can be completed. When this is allowed to continue you get the 18 month turnaround times we see now

My Value Ultra Moden with 31 cards that got to PSA 2/4 (4 days earlier) Research & ID on 4/5 (1 day earlier) went to assembly 2/1 (same as you) but still no QA1. I guess they arent going in order. Seems like your order slowly caught up to mine and then passed it.

There definitely is some stuff happening out of order. I had an order that arrived to PSA 10 days later than this one, and it moved to Grading a month later, and yet it was complete 3 weeks ago. So... who knows when people's orders will be complete?

This is not irregular...orders get passed because some orders are larger than others, or one order has a lot more variety in the types of cards in one order compared to another. An order can also get stuck because a particular card in the order needs to go through several extra pairs of eyes too. So orders will get passed out of "order" all the time.

I had another order get there this morning per USPS but nothing on the PSA side yet. My last three orders were updated within a couple hours, now it looks like they’re at least a day out

When I have 10 orders at PSA that arrived on different days and the last one that arrived finishes first, it's irregular; the cards are of more variety in that finished order than nearly any of my other orders in their system. That completed order was also my second-largest order.

TCG orders, personal or within group submissions, are some of the worse orders to move through the system. My group submission is now 3 months and counting IN ASSEMBLY (01/09/21 entered). Someone said there was a million card submission from Japan. I don’t know if it is true, but 3 months in assembly is ridiculous.

You would think assembly would be one of the easier functions to ramp up as it just involves putting the card in the slabbing machine. I assume it does not take much training to use. They could hire temporary workers to do the job. Unless they are having supply issues with the plastic, which is probably the case. I don't think a slab machine would so expensive they would not want to invest in more to increase production.

No changes on my dozen or so backlogged orders. Seems like progress has slowed a bit. I had a 3/11 modern ship on 2/2 yet my 3/16 is still in grading stage.

My Ultra Modern 3/22/21 'entered' has been in Assembly for quite a few weeks. What entered date are they on for orders moving on to QA1? or are we entering the 'mouse in the snake' that clogged up the drain last Spring?

Have 10 orders logged in on 3/1 for TCG. all in grading. Figured id see one or two move into assembly by now. From what i have gathered asking around they are between 2/17-2/25 on tcg orders. my luck they will finish my 1800 cards all on the same day.

You would think that is the case, but since other submissions are moving through the system, why not TCG? Could it be they just have a problem slabbing these? PSA has really lost sight of things when it comes to their customers. I just want my cards back so I can put them in my rear view for large orders.
