Looks like those two Regular orders were received a day prior to mine so sounds like mine should be moving to the next step soon - thanks guys.

I had a 227 card TCG order entered 2/22/2021 move from grading to assembly around 12:30 am today. This is the first time I've seen it move outside of business hours. I know it's been mentioned they work around the clock now, but it's always been during the day in the past for me. Seems like they were not having a great day. Around 51% gem rate using the trick on mostly Pokemon Hidden Fates. I cherry picked these so was certainly anticipating a higher percentage (but don't we all? haha).

Looks like regular is bogging down quite a bit since economy has opened!
Was going almost as fast as express for a while, guess those times are over |

PSA should have allowed people to make all their 5 card allocations into one order. I submitted four orders of five cards each. I would have saved a lot of money in return shipping if I could have put them all in an order of 20 cards. The number of orders are clogging up the entry process.

I sent in an Express on 1/27 that's already been shipped back.
The Express i sent on 1/30 has not even been marked as received yet. Things are definitely bogging down. I think it makes the most sense to just find how many they can do each month total and allow that many total submissions each month and get them all turned around by the end of each month, regardless of service level. Charge based off the value of the card. There is really no sustainable model that allows for one type of grading to take three months and the others 2 weeks. How do you get to three months turnaround without taking in more than you can grade in one month? If you consistently take in more than you can grade in one month then 3 months turnaround will eventually be 15 months again. Unless you artificially push it to 3 months first and then take in exactly how much you can grade in a month to keep it at 3 months...but what's really the point of that? if you're only going to be able to intake how much you can grade in a month either way why not just start that way from the beginning? it's not like they are getting any extra money other than perhaps those first 2 months of artificially creating a backlog. You can only accept how many you can grade. There is no other way to frame that differently to get more money without developing the 18 month backlog again. |

They do not have a reliable system until they get their backlog down to 2-3 month level. If you are getting 200,000 thousand or more cards pee week, how is that reducing the 6 million backlog? They have a major problem and until they clear the backlog the logjam will happen earlier. The logjam is in assembly currently. Last edited by The_Reverend; 02-14-2022 at 01:21 PM. |

This exactly! I have a 1 card regular order that took 1 week to be entered and has spent another week and counting in research & ID. I have a 5 card economy that arrived and still has not been entered.

Was thinking of adding another 5 cards but if it's going to be bogged down like it's looking so far then I'll probably hold off

Its almost like paying more gets your cards done faster (I get some of it is the value on the card as well)...Express is supposed to be faster than Regular.
Its like going to FedEx/UPS and doing 2 day service and your shipment gets there the next day (had that happen last year). They don't do that all the time or nobody would ever do next day service. I figure we'll start seeing movement on the early Economy orders by the beginning of March, they're going to push that 3 month window as close as possible.

I had seen everybody in here saying that regular was moving pretty quickly so I decided to send four cards in. Mine were received 7 days ago and still not entered. It look like most other people's were received and entered the next day?
