Default Is it time to talk about Tyrese Haliburton?.... The official he's no longer a Kangz

I'm pretty excited Tyrese is off the Kings. Hopefully he can thrive in Indiana.

Show off your Haliburtons. I'll start with my small collection.
Gold disco and shimmer numbered to 10

You know the Kings are a bad organization when people celebrate the fact that a guy get shipped to a rebuilding Indiana.

Unfortunately I don’t think being in IND is any better for his card market then SAC. Going from one small market team that is rebuilding to another.

So bizzare for a team to trade such a young talented player so early in their career.

Pretty dumb to trade for a player that really isn’t gonna help you…should’ve just kept Haliburton

Sabonis is 25 so not like he’s old. He’s a free agent after 23-24. Haliburton is a restricted free agent after 23-24. Odd are either one will be gone from Sacramento at that point anyway

How is he not going to help? Sacramento had 3 good young point guards. Now they have 2 good young point guards. I think Sacramento is a better team right now after the trade. Odds are Sacramento still won’t be a good team and both guys would be gone before Sacramento is good anyway

Haliburton is going to shine in Indy. Picked up a bunch of him the last month.

Indy players have no hobby value. Sorry to anyone invested in Haliburton.

Exactly. Hobby value is the same as Sacramento. I like Haliburton as a player but also don’t think he has star power to ever be a huge hobby guy. Maybe if he goes to Lakers or Knicks he may get a boost but Indy isn’t going to help him.

The Kings are the most inspirational organization I know. They make me feel like I can do anything (better than they do).

At least Haliburton is no longer a rookie, so he will not automatically get placed in Rick Carlisle's doghouse.

I hope this trade works for both teams, but I doubt it .

Said it his rookie year and I'll say it again.

Hali will be the best version of Andre Miller ever.

If the accident never happened?

I'd be extremely concerned if he peaked at 9/2/4.

Kid could be special. If they redrafted today, dude would go 3 (maybe four with Bane doing what he’s doing). He’s a standout player in what was a deceptively strong rookie class. I think the Pacers made out pretty well. He’s in his second year. I like his upside.

Cause it’s the bum Kings…sure he will help, but they won’t go anywhere as usual…

It's not bizarre. It was between Fox and Haliburton. Who are you picking? Everyone knew one of them had to go.

Haliburton, like SGA in OKC, will get the immediate opportunity to show the league what he is in Indiana. It very quickly can be his franchise.

I'm sure Brogdon is packing his bags right now. Hield moving with Tyrese all but cements that Brogdon enters the journeyman part of his career and is out of Indiana. It's unfortunate because there was a lot of excitement starting the season with Brogdon/LeVert/Sabonis but they couldn't stay healthy to get a chance to really play together.

Portland will be the interesting team around the draft. Having 2 potential lottery picks and lots of cap space, I could see them either moving up in the draft or trading one of those picks for someone like a Malcolm Brogdon to pair next to Lillard, depending on where the picks fall.

It warms my cold heart to see a BGS slab for last year’s cards. That gold Prizm is beautiful

Kings fans (reddit, forums) are pretty devastated to lose Tyrese, he is an instant fan favorite. Guess the Pacers just became my second team.

Awesome gold and genesis right there. Here's one from me.
