It's crab legs, hands down. Most of the time it's because of the upcharge to the buffet because they are serving crab legs.

When Rivers Casino would serve them, I never saw anything like it. It was like the world was coming to an end the following day.

Well first of all masks don't work, there's that.

Secondly if youre concerned about covid, you wouldn't go to a buffet where you're literally scooping food from a community trough onto your plate, sharing ladles and such.


Third to all those making Florida jokes. I used to be with you, Florida used to be the butt of many of my jokes as well. But the tides are turning, many of the good law abiding citizens from states like mine ($hitty illinois) are moving away in droves because of crime and no cash bail etc. Into states like Florida, thus the population is changing for the better down there. We have a family friend who told us that 2500 people a week are moving to central Florida alone. If it weren't for my type of work I'd likely make the move too.

Glad you are not moving here. I wish all of those people that are moving down here would stop moving here. We don't have the infrastructure and resources to continue to indefinitely handle the influx of people we have been getting in this area. Your family friend is absolutely correct. I actually wonder if the number per week noted is low. Just remember that a whole bunch of the Florida peninsula is swampland. Also think about where a bunch of the new construction is taking place. Collapses like the Surfside apartment complex are going to be happening more and more because the ground is here generally soft. Am I trying to scare you and others off? Yeppers! But just because I am doesn't make my statements any less true.

As for you wanting to leave Illinois, I don't blame you. I was born in Chicago and still have a bunch of relatives up there. I wouldn't move back there if I had to leave here. Heck, I haven't even visited in over 25 years.

FTR, Florida is the butt of so many jokes and deserves to be the butt of so many more. As more "law abiding citizens" from states like yours get assimilated down here, they become more like us and not the other way around. Sadly, things like the Golden Corral brawl and other stupid things like that are considered normal here.
