But seriously, they are both morons and deserve each other.

I’m going Cincy by 3 on a Money Mac field goal again as time expires, one of the best in the league.

Also going 49ers by 10, yep I said it, 10!!

I think the biggest difference in last month's Bengals/Chiefs game and Sunday will be the officiating crew. Most who don't follow the Chiefs closely probably do not know that last month's crew was a mish-mash thrown together last second and the lead referee was John Hussey (doing the NFC championship and will be doing the Super Bowl (ugh!)). They were wildly inconsistent throughout the entire game throwing 15 penalty flags. Even Joe Burrow said they got "some lucky calls" during his post-game presser. I think that and homefield advantage should give the Chiefs the edge.

Don't forget the reschuffled Chiefs offensive line that was necessary because Orlando Brown got hurt in warmups, and then Lucas Naing 6 plays in.

Or the fact that Clyde Edwards Helaire and Jerrick McKinnon both didn't play.

Or that the Bengals still had Larry Ogunjobi.

I like the Chiefs in this one.

Tennessee found a way to bother Burrow even though he still threw for a bunch of yards and won the game. If Tannehill wasn't giving the ball away it would have worked out.

The defensive schemes for both Vegas and Tennessee matched up well with the Bengals offense which is why the scoring was down for those two games. They are two of the worst matchups defensively Cincy could have played. It was good that the defense was up to the task on the other side of the ball.

All of these things seem to point to an offensive breakout by the Bengals offensively and a potential game plan defensively that works against KC.

This is all just speculation, but there is a lot of gamescripts which would favor the Bengals on Sunday.
I like your observation.

I know he got plenty of praises for his resilience against the Titans but the Bengals really need that week 17 Joe B to even make this competitive. I do agree that Cincinnati can't squander any scoring chances.

I don't even want to talk about their O-Line. They sucked all year long, they're not going to miraculously fix it in a weeks time but this one-and-done atmosphere has produced plenty of upsets.

Some interesting takes in this thread. I don’t see how the Bengals keep it close. Burrow and Chase played as well as they can, a lot because of instances where KC left Ward on an island which will not happen this time.

Also, the 2h was not due to adjustment by the Bengals D but rather self inflicted wounds by the KC offense with drops and penalties. They only had 3 drives because of the craziness that was the end of the game.

Chris Jones dominated the Cincy Oline and I expect him to do the same this week. KC will adjust and bring less blitzes which aren’t necessary against this Cincy team to get home, which should make things more difficult for Burrow. He will still get sacked a few times which will kill drives. On the flip side, I don’t see the Cincy defense stopping KC much. I would be shocked if Cincy won this game, but I also admittedly thought they had little to no chance against the Titans, so I could just be underestimating this Cincy team.

Revenge is going to play a role in Chiefs / Bengals. It is human nature for a team to want to beat an opponent they previously lost to.

Doesn't matter. Chiefs are going to win.

Also, Nutter needs your help in the Mahomie thread.

Wrong, it is the Cheatriots. 49ers are a distant second.
