To think if the Lakers had gotten Hield, they could have brought back Caruso and likely used THT for S&T for Derozan who from all accounts wanted to go to LA.

I’m really excited to watch Edwards continue to grow.

10 dimes w/ 1 turnover. Basically went 50/40/90 tonight with a team high 27. This all from a guy labeled strictly an athlete and would take time to develop into a high level basketball player. I’m impressed. I think he’s going to be great.

Lakers coaching staff should be lashed 26 times after this one...

Shame on the Lakers coaching staff. Obviously I've got the benefit of hindsight but the 25th (most in the NBA) starting lineup used this year was unequivocally the worst and without question I would not have even come close to rolling it out. What's worse was Vogel called a timeout after about 4 minutes because it was a disaster and he reinserted the exact same players around Russ. He then went back to that lineup toward the end of the 2nd and surprise surprise the Hornets built back their lead again.

So they decided to start 2 unplayable NBA players (DJ & Elly) and 2 defensive guys (Stan & AB) with the latter being questionable before tip with a stomach virus. Vogel did his absolute best to make Russ look bad starting him alongside old, unplayable, challenged offensive players. Keeping in mind Russ traditionally likes to get his team-mates going to start games. They basically lost the game in the 1st quarter, and doubled down with that lineup to end the 2nd.

Surely, this was a game to start Reaves, Carmelo, Howard even THT or Ariza and for real I would've considered Baze to get a surprise potential uplifting start. But Frank rolled out his nonsense vet, D based ? lineup, shocking. SMH

With the power vested in me by virtue of my NBA league pass and 1k slabbed Prizm PSA 10 bass (colloquially known as the University of Pass n Bass) I hereby declare the '21-'22 Laker as officially dead.

They are old, bad, injured and done. AD is an ailing beta and Russ is a level 32 free Mason at this point.

LeBron is still extremely good, but not take on the Pistons solo and score 20+ straight points good.

Outside of the big 2 and Westy, they have a unit of dry dry bones. Not one decent talent in the group outside of maybe that Reaves kid. And he is outperforming his physical limitations as it is.

I imagine more people care about the Lakers than the Cavs. I agree they have been bad so far though.
