Yeah I think you’re right, as much as it pains me to say it. I don’t think we win w/o all those moves. Pederson was essentially NLDS MVP, Rosario was NLCS MVP and Soler was WS MVP. Maybe Acuna would’ve been hot and won one or two of those by himself, or maybe we trade for one or two of those guys anyway. Who knows Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Would love to know your reasoning. Im a far bigger Acuna fan but I don't see it. My thoughts.
Reasons for Gatorade: 1. Soto has far fewer cards across '18 than Acuna. 2. Soto only has 1 SSP (Gatorade) in Update. Acuna has 2 (Batting & Glove). 3. Soto cards are currently outpacing Acuna cards. PSA 10 pop is very similar Gatorade 58 vs Batting 54. I own both. |

I agree with your points. I just think there's a growing excitement around Acuna that Soto doesn't have, and that's making up the difference even though Ronnie has a bunch of different RC options while Soto has way fewer. Soto's team is going absolutely nowhere. The Braves are going to have more eyes on them than ever this season as the reigning champs. The RETURN OF ACUNA is pretty exciting rn. This card in particular is extremely tough, and has been underappreciated. That's my take anyway.

Been stocking up on Acuna and waiting for the start of the season. Collect new stuff to keep from getting bored, and once it starts up will move Acuna, Ohtani, Soto, Dominguez…to buy more 50’s vintage graded cards.

My Soto ranking: 1. Platinum 2. Clear 3. Indy 4. Black 5. Camo 6. Gatorade Bath 7. Fathers Day 8. Mother’s Day 9. Gold 10. Hand on hips SP My Acuna ranking: 1. Platinum 2. Clear 3. Vertical SSP 4. Black 5. Indy 6. Camo 6. Horizontal SSP 8. Complete Set foilboard 9. Bat Down 10. Fathers Day These lists are strictly off my personal preference for the image/design of the individual cards for each player from flagship. US300 batting is a much better photo of Soto in my opinion and why I rank the parallels higher in that list. For Acuna I think it’s the opposite where the vertical SSP is his best flagship image. The card is beautiful, but the rarity of the Platinum and clear top it. I answer the original question by asking myself: Would I pay more for Acuna’s 3rd best flagship or Soto’s 6th best flagship? My answer is yes, but I don’t consider my collection an investment of any kind and enjoy collecting what I like. |

Example - Yesterday 2018 Bowman's Best Acuna Refractor PSA 10 went for $133. Soto went for $450. |

I would think the scarcity of the white SSP would keep pumpers away. Kind of like you can’t pump a 52 Mantle rookie because there are more people that want the card versus inventory to sell. I have one in a BGS 9.5 with (2) 10 subs but no way would I sell a baseball card like that in the off-season. Cards always increase more during the season. That is why you buy hoops cards over the summer and football in the spring.

Bat down sapphire. Mainly because the base version shows Andy Reid rolling to the hot dog stand
