just telling it like it is. and yes, the Packers defense played awesome too, but i think a couple of dropped passes by the 49ers in the 1st quarter also helped them out, would have been a much different game if Kittle catches that wide open pass. it is what it is.

After the first drive Packers offense scored 3 points. Yikes.

Gotta give the guys in the FOX truck some props too
![]() Because I'm sure they had that Talanoa Hufanga "Touchdown" graphic all cued up and ready to go.....and they had it up on screen less than five seconds after he scored the TD....

To the Packer fans out there, I was listening to the radio in passing but just heard Wayne Larrivee or Larry McCarren is leaving the broadcast next year? Does anyone have info about that? I just searched google and it said they are switching stations but both were listed to still be broadcasting?

I was surprised that Aaron Rodgers didn’t get better protection against the Niners with his natural immunity.

I find it hard to believe with three QB’s left in the NFC that Brady doesn’t come out on top when Jimmy and Stanford are the other two. Only Aaron Donald can screw this up.

I have money on them, but I’m not hugely confident. Really depends on the health of Tampas offensive line.

the 49ers were also down to Dontae Johnson at CB, a dude who has been on 6 teams since 2014, and is on his third stint with the 49ers and only started because Ambry Thomas didn't play, and Josh Norman was benched. Compton got destroyed today by ZaDarius Smith and Gary, but he's only playing because we lost McGlinchey earlier in the year. injuries suck, but they are part of the game.

Tough night as a packer fan, but we have gotten accustomed to spectacular failures in the playoffs. As the season went on, it was obvious the special teams was a disaster and we all were afraid it would cost them a big game, and it did. Kudos to the SF defense, very stout, and after the first drive shut down Davante. Sad that the pack had no adjustment to the offense to respond to that. Either Arod totally locked onto Davante on every play or nobody else could get open. Packers d far exceeded expectations last night, we cant say that the defense cost them another playoff game. Thats on the special teams and offense. Yes, the pack finished 13-4 during the regular season, but a number of those games could have/should have been losses and this team could easily have been a 9-8 or 10-7 team. Seems the home field advantage and a bye week isnt much of an advantage for this team. Going to be an interesting off season for sure

How tough would the 49ers be if they had drafted Jamarr chase opposite Deebo or Penei Sewel to play right tackle?

The worst aspect of the 49ers last night was Jimmy, who has the 2nd best winning percentage in the regular season. I don’t think anyone wants to play them right now

Last 6 weeks 49ers have had road wins against the Bengals, Rams, Cowboys, and the Packers. I guess technically you could have an argument that it was a home game at sofi.

Anyone out there want to put on their “Rodgers is a diva” cap and maybe him only throwing to Adams was a message to the FO that he only stays if they can somehow keeps Adams too?

interesting theory. Unfortunately its not the first time he's done that however. I dont think he would tank a playoff game to make statement about next year since he doesnt have many more years left, but then again, with him you never know. It will really be up to him to make it work if he stays. He'll have to restructure/take a pay cut, whatever, to be able to afford to keep Davante and any other pieces. Going to be an interesting off season for sure. Guess this is what makes the NFL interesting, the salary cap makes for these types of dilemmas and keeps things somewhat equitable.

And that's why coming into the post season, they had just as good of a chance as any. Truly battle tested.
