I've seen this as a popular hot take the past couple weeks and I just don't get it.
Of the 7 teams remaining (other than themselves) They have beaten 4 of them (KC, BUF, STL, SF) They used a record number of players, lost AJ Brown, Julio Jones, and Derek Henry for a majority of the season at different times and still went 12-5... they went 8-3 against teams over .500. No team in NFL history has won 8 games against +.500 teams. They're certainly not the best #1 seed ever, but they're not the worst.

Then need to use him sparingly or they will ruin him like Todd Gurley

No they need to run him into the ground to try to win a Super Bowl. No guarantee they ever have another chance and there is no guarantee the wheels don’t fall off next year. Dude had 680 attempts over 2 seasons and was on pace for about 450 this year if he didn’t get hurt. If you are going to use him like that in the regular season why wouldn’t you in the playoffs? Should they limit him to 15 rushes this week and lose to the Bengals? |

All the DVOA conversation is stupid. It just verifies that this team finds ways to win even when our best players are out. Excited to be at the game today, Titan up!

A few stats going into the game:
- AJ, Julio, and Henry were only on the field for 120 snaps the entire season. On those plays, they averaged 7 yards/play. The Niners were the league leaders for the season with 6.1 y/p. - The last time they were all on the field together for any stretch of time, they scored 27 in the first half against KC. 5 drives - 3 TD, 2 FG Julio is also the healthiest he's been all year. This is the first time he practiced all week going into a game. |

I've been thinking about this game......A LOT.
Cincy has had a good year, but it ends today. I just don't see the Bengals offensive line holding up against the Titans defense, and on the other side of the ball, I don't see the Bengals line keeping Henry in check. The Bengals honestly should have blown out the Raiders last week, but it came down to the last play. It never should have been that close. I like the Bengals, but they are a year too early. Titans by 7 or more. Honestly, It should be over by early 4th quarter. |

Another stat I read was that Tannehill’s avg per completion was the highest in the NFL when Henry, AJ and Julio were all on the field. So basically The offense is much better with their three best players on the field. |
