Another day another shuffle got away. Lost auction on refractor to tonight pretty bummed My xfractor has been at psa for near a year forgot what it looked like in person.

BCA! Although the Gatorade will be iconic too, it's hard to beat his first auto though. Also it being numbered too gives it some extra weight.

I agree. And that’s coming from one of the few people who lost $1,000+ on Soto. I bought a BGS 9.5 for like $3,500 in February and sold for $2,500 in August. Should have just held.

5/5 is close enough (in eBay world) to put "close to Jersey #" too. I've seen it. I've seen someone list "close to jersey #"

Insane that people were able to grab Shuffle cards for pennies on the dollar not that long ago.

Is the card hyped? Absolutely it is, but in this case, I do think the hype is warranted. As someone posted earlier....Juan's shuffle it unique to him....just like Lebron's chalk toss is unique to Lebron. Hyped or not this card is an instant classic.

I spent the last two days going through my graded shoeboxes of CS1s looking for my shuffle X-Fractor. I couldn't find it anywhere. So I started going through my monster boxes that have '20 and '21 SCC in them, just because why not.

Nothing. Panic begins to set in.

I go back again and go through the shoeboxes again. I mean, that's the only place it would be. I would have gotten in the mail, put it in a new CS1, scanned it, and then put it in the most recent shoebox I was filling up. Nothing.

Then today, I thought "Is there any chance I actually subbed it a year ago? I mean, it wasn't worth much of anything then, why would I?

Sure enough, it's at PSA from a sub sent in before they shut down.

Good news and bad news. I was planning on just flipping it to take the profit and see if I could get $399 for it raw. Can't do that now but, if it comes back a 10 then I'm obviously going to get a lot more for it than $399.

These are the trials and tribulations of a semi-organized collector who isn't accustomed to doing the right thing in advance. Now I'm just crossing my fingers for a late-Xmas PSA gift.

You should try being a true collector. It's a lot more enjoyable than being a flipper. I look forward to your sales thread in this Soto thread in the 3-6 months.

It's been hyped here for a year. Not sure why it took so long
