Crazy to think that 2022 S1 is less than a month away and Topps still has several 2021 products to get out the door. They sure love making things hard on themselves.

Yes, they should have canceled a bunch of products. Who is going to want 21 Big League in March when 22 S1 with Wander is out in February?

NBA season is what, half way through and we just got the first NBA-uniform cards for 2021-22 rookies. Still printing 2020-21 products...

It has already been delayed once, wonder if it will get delayed again if there is indeed a backlog.

As much as I enjoyed opening BH last year, they would be better off just cancelling it. It would avoid the whole RC debacle and they can just focus on Sapphire and 2022 stuff.

But alas, they won't because they know that there is money to be made.

Understand, I enjoy ripping it as well -- really enjoyed last year's 1992 design.

I meant to suggest, but was not clear that they might delay S1 flagship again since it was already delayed once, while they clear the backlog of other products and if they are having supply chain / capacity issues.

What do we think is in the backlog? At least 2021 BH, 2021 Chrome Update Sapphire, and 2021 Bowman Draft Sapphire. Perhaps a GPK Sapphire, too?

21 Big League Baseball as CJ above mentioned. GPK is weird since last year was the first installment and I'm not sure if they confirmed it for 2021 so who knows? All I know is my wallet is going to be mighty thin if all of this comes out in the span of a few weeks.

As much as I've been looking forward to the 70th anniversary chrome set, I wouldn't be upset if it just got dumped at this point.

If they sent out an email that said due to backlog, COVID, etc., we're just going to clear the decks of pending products and start fresh with 2022 Series 1 coming out on time, I don't think there'd be too many people unhappy about it.

True, I suspect most of this has been printed at this point so there will be a push to get it out.

I really liked the look of these on the sell sheets & after ripping a couple boxes of A&G Chrome, am really hoping they turn out as nice looking as the A&G Chrome...so I preordered a couple boxes. Please keep these one-off "anniversary" sets & do away with Big League Baseball '21.

One box maximum.....and then it will probably be like a three box max during the public sale. I appreciate the ease of being able to pick up the product using the MC, but that's only worth so much

Probably not... We've seen this format for F1 and UEFA sapphire and those didn't have autos.

Quite the price jump last year was 3 for 70 each. Now 1 for 200....This was one of the few baseball products that could be flipped for a profit last year (for those that were just in it to flip) at a nice mark up.
