100 Case 2021 Bowman Draft PYP Pick Your Player (w/50 Case option)

and yet this time, the product came out days before this post was made and spots opened. leading up to 12/31, the sp autos were not showing up, and people still chose to ignore that and go after those spots.

This is not a knock and Houdini or Dave or any other breaker doing PYP and auctions, but honestly they do them before the product releases because they'd never be able to sell certain spots once people start opening the product. It is good business on their end, but every year certain spots get beat up.

Dude nobody can ever get a hold of Topps and you think Blowout and Houdini can call and get an answer… get outta here with that.. Topps prints this stuff like a week before release and if guys are lazy getting their cards back in, or they are damaged, there is nothing they can do.. they also hold some back for replacements. If they came and said hey these too guys are SP it would effect pricing.. never gonna happen

For reference, looking at a chart from last year's Bowman draft 108 case auction - the lowest autograph total of a player was 10 for Asa Lacy. And he had a Red /5 pulled. So far, there are several players with no autos pulled through 38 cases.

Not a good comp.

If you can tell us how many of last year's spots were blanked through 38, then that's relevant.

Otherwise, it's irrelevant info at this point with 60 cases to go. You're comparing an apple to an orchard.

Seems like a lot has changed. I have the same chance as you to get Topps on the phone, but you have a better chance of getting a response.

And don't think that just because it's a redemption that it won't have condition issues. Those can still have the same problems that the cards in packs do.

Last year I had Slade Cecconi who only had redemptions. I do not remember how many I got in the 100 cases but I assure you it was not pretty. If I had known before the auction I most likely would not have purchased the spot. And yes I know some is better than none. Unlike this year however I noticed many of the redemptions on eBay going for low prices and I purchased a few. I believe people were worried that they would never actually get the product as they feared it would be like Panini (were I have a few I have been waiting 480 days now). The good news is Topps seems to get the autos to you on a card in great condition and assuming they are in short supply the market should be hot for them. But, I do understand more then most the frustration of not seeing an auto of a player you paid for and in some cases paid a lot for.

You guys are now at 42 cases. Six players don't have a single auto yet. Yes, there are 12 cases to go to even up that math. But that's not looking great.
