I think in theory Hoops Premium was great. It was for the first 2-3 months. It was out during the big month of February. I made great money. Definitely in the profit. I was selling Zion base for $90 and the tribute for $50. I still have a good amount remaining, but in the profit by a couple thousand.

Everything is down. So of course this fell too. As for people finding a few blasters here and there. MJ always holds product back. Remember Optic Megas in the summer of 2020, and Mosaic basketball in fall of 2020.

You'd have to be pretty fast could you move 50 sets or more. That's at least what some people were getting and more than likely planning to hold.

I got 7 sets and made a couple grand. I still have all JA cards too. 50 sets I recall that. I think the Optic set was in mind for many when this set hit. Even that set has dropped with the crash we're in.

7 is a good number of bonus packs to open. Not so many sets you're stuck working ebay nonstop or regret not picking up more.

Yep 7 was easy to work with. Some good pulsar pulls at the time. Sold a Duncan Robinson Red for $60. That card is nothing now. That was one of the worst pulls too.

I think I had something like 30 sets, I know I made a lot but I probably won’t tally it all up until after the year closes and I start working on taxes. The aftermarket wax and singles though I got killed. Even PSA 10s of the silvers and ice only draw what the raw were going for originally

Ok this makes sense to me, as couldn’t hardly imagine the print run of hoops was that much less than hoops premium.

Forgot to add that I asked the woman by the cards, “2 right?” and she said no I could get whatever. I grabbed 5 and hoped the next person didn’t clean it out…they were all gone today not surprisingly both hanger boxes were gone.

Anybody know where the orange Rookie Scripts come from or have a general idea on print run? I haven’t found/opened any 2020-21 Mosaic yet but looking at a couple autos from that set

I haven't opened any 2020-21 retail yet, but the orange rookie scripts autos came out of hangers last year, so I’d assume it’s the same this year.

Opened 3 cellos. Cards are nice especially the parallels but price too high now.

I left 4 cello boxes at walmart...

At one point, I had 40-50 of those HPS pulsar sets. Only have 2 left but actually made out quite good on those.

I'm still sitting on a bunch of HPS retail though. Definitely sitting on a loss with those but fortunately other retail plays (such as HPS pulsar sets, 2020 Prizm FB blasters, 19-20 Mosaic retail, HF tins, etc) kept me in the green overall.

Too bad I went heavy with HPS when I could've went heavier in 2020 Prizm FB.

Those HPS sets were a good memory, I got some of the colored pulsars graded but by the time I got them back...the value has drastically gone down. At $150 a set, it was such a steal at the time and easy set to make $$ on. 4 total Zion/Ja RCs...and even the 2nd tier group of rookies (RJ Barrett, Herro, Coby White, Keldon Johnson) were selling for $5-$10 each. Luka and Lebron were $20ish. Even if you pulled duds in the colored pulsar pack, you were still up.

Target.com will probably be my one and only (slim) chance at grabbing at any retail Mosaic. I went to Walmart around here yesterday and it looked like the campers are back waiting for whatever hasn't been backdoored.

For those of you finding these at WalMart or Meijer in the U.S., what are the prices? Blasters, Hangers, Cellos.

It looks like someone said Hangers are $21.98 but rsgenerals' image makes it look like something is $19.98 below the empty tray. I know Meijer is usually a few dollars more.
