Default 2003 Exquisite Lebron question

Just a random question after looking through the Goldin auction.
Does anyone know how many of the Lebron's have been pulled?

They have a case of Exquisite for sale with a current bid of 500k.
They also have a Lebron PSA 8.5 with 10 auto for sale with a current bid of 760k.

I love gambling but that seems like a pretty big risk. Then again, I'm not familiar with this set and the production as much as others.

I guess the odds aren't so bad. Looks like there are 36 players with autos and you get 6 in the case.

Whoever is buying that case sure as hell isn’t opening it. The value is in having one of the last remaining sealed cases.

Yeah. I don't think the buyer is going to open.

Are all MJs redemptions?

Still a good question from the OP though. Has anyone tracked the RPAs?

I know of at least 63 of the 99 that have been pulled. I figure that number is considerably higher.

Is that including all the variations?
Never mind - see you're just talking about the /99.
Also have the /23's in there.

I have record of 10 of the /23, but I haven't followed them nearly as close.

Surprised no one has mentioned this video by Goldin. It goes into some discussion of what might be left out there.

Redemptions redeemed used to be public information provided by upper deck.

All the Jordans have been redeemed, thus you would assume all brons have been pulled.

By definition, the ultimate value lies in ripping it at some point. Otherwise it's just a cardboard box.

Odds of pulling the Bron rpa (checklist of 35 rookies/3 boxes per case) are about as good as purchasing a single case of NT and trying to pull the Lamello. Have to also consider there could be a chance one of the gold rc's (no patch or auto) could be looming in there to replace one of your hits. In other words, nada. Actually watched several of these boxes being ripped back in the super early days of youtube and never saw anyone pull the Bron.

Of course there is an assortment of other Lebrons you can pull from other subsets in there, but even if you're fortunate enough to pull the second best LBJ (numbered pieces /23), I doubt that would even come close to recouping case price.

Jordan autos as redemptions really hurts the potential.
