Damn. I sold my RDJ "08" variant for $2700 when Avengers: Endgame came out and I thought that was a pretty good deal. It's the most someone has paid for an RDJ card at the time.

I've had 2 offers of 10k for mine (08 version) on ebay but both buyers were 0 feedback and overseas....thats just too risky in my opinion.

Looks like all of Garfield's auto's from that set seem to be selling for a premium since No way home. May be time to part with mine.

Very tempting to sell my Tobey and 3x Garfields, but the movie makes me love these cards all over again. Maybe I’ll add a Holland card to it one day.

I sold mine (no date inscription, but a really strong signature) around the same time for about $2,500 to pay a few bills, but as a consolation prize, I took $50 of the money and bought a Dafoe.

For what it's worth, I sold the Downey to a fellow in Hong Kong with very little feedback, and the sale went through no problem.
I think international buyers are driving the current market for high end MCU autos.

The guy who tried to buy mine had 3 different accounts making offers I found out. Was super sketch. I'd rather take the lower sale from a trustworthy buyer than risk sending overseas to someone with less than 5 feedback, especially a $10k card.

Probably a very good idea, what with the greatly increased value of it in the short time since I sold mine. Even though I ended up leaving a lot on the table, I don't feel too bad. I got the full case it came from for around $600 and I remember getting a lot of that back pretty much right away by selling the sketches, the near-costume card set, and some mini-masters. (I also sold the Favreau auto I got from the same case for a couple of hundred not too long ago, although that seems to have doubled in value lately, as well.)

2008 Rittenhouse X-Men Origins Wolverine Ryan Reynolds ends at $1,592. Highest I've seen so far that's non-graded.

That's the most I've ever seen. They sold around $1,000 for a while with a recent one selling for $1,500 and I thought that was pretty amazing.

I opened 2 cases when they were new. 4 boxes per case only had two costume cards as the hits. There were then 3-4 autographs and 3-4 sketch cards in the remaining boxes. The possibility of getting a Downey is very slim, same for the Bridges. Favreau is much more likely, and even that one goes for hundreds now. The Downey shot is probably worth a couple of hundred. Add that on to the cost of any sealed MCU product from 14 years ago, and $400 to $500 seems reasonable.

That said, 12 boxes in a sealed case would be worth somewhat more per box, since only then can the buyer be assured of getting some autographs, I'd say $600 per box in that scenario, which is pretty close to what the full cases cost back then.

Tough one there. When was the last time a box was even available on the open market? Some of these products that have completely dried up, the sky is really the limit. Just this week I made a 5 figure purchase on some older upper deck sealed cases from another friend/shop owner back east, I have not idea if what I paid was great or not because we had no comps to go off of. so we both just used our best judgment and "got there" on price... Find the right buyer looking to take the gamble.....I am always shocked what that kind of stuff ends up going for.

I opened cases of Seasons 1/2 and 3/4. I own the 3/4 Relic auto of hers and have a full set of all the autos. Really nice set tbh. Wasn't a fan of the rest of those season sets tho, basically crypto got lazy doing them IMO.
