I really hate to sound like a PSA fanboy, but this 5 is definitely better looking than the last couple of BGS 7s. Buyer got a real gem at that price. I wonder how much it would have gone for if was listed on one of the more high profile auction sites? Like I said before, I've never heard of Skinner.

I don’t think anyone knew about this auction. The prices were anemic. Sadly I didn’t realize the auction ended as early as it did. I wanted the Leaf Limited and it had already closed.

Maybe the surface on the refractive area is pitting??? It looks really clean on the edges and corners. Recently graded too. With PSA backing the grade they’re so hard on this iconic card.

I don't think it's entirely due to the foil issues. Even my BGS 8.5 has creasing appearance on the foil when viewed under light at an angle. Most champ tickets have it. Kings copy also had it if you had watched the YouTube video on the PWCC premier auction listing. Perhaps it's worse on this one. Have to see it in person to know what the issue is.

Yes I agree PSA needs to clarify their Authentic designation on their cards.
