There's been more and more Soto and Acuna base cards being signed/slabbed and being sold on the market. New/uneducated buyers may unfortunately pay a premium for them. But it's their money to do what they want with it. May be a cheaper alternative over the Topps certified versions.

I think Harper has it. I wouldn't be shocked if Soto won though. Tatis on the other hand has no chance at winning.

Those percentiles look good on paper, but translate to:

151st in Doubles

Definitely stands out. His plate discipline is uncanny. But not surprised pitchers don't want to pitch to him especially since the Nats lineup sucks.

MLB could have a very decorative 23yr old international stud….to me that’s the only way I see it happening. If they want to go that route then I think that factor plays a part in the voting. They need to build their “star” player portfolio. I think you could give it to either one, but which player will bring more attention and viewers to baseball if they win the award ?

The Mike Schmidt factor maybe too powerful, I think Harper has it.

Good take! Tatis is the answer but Soto so good. I'm picking Harper too by 1 vote because of who I think the voters will pick. Can't wait for tonight!

Price seems about right.

Non graded heritage IP signed cards are $250-300ish. Seems to be a 4-6x premium for 10/10 stuff if comparing to other players. Tatis topps is an easy one to look up.

Signed rookies have taken off in the last year or so. PSA DNA 10/10’s are in demand.

Edit - just saw title says real one. Def going to cause confusion.
