Yeah this is weird. As an auction bidder, I have received zero communication from them, and the website now seems to go to a completely different looking site. Are my login details on the former site still valid at this new one? No, looks like you have to activate it via confirmation if you click the sign in link.
Just would have been nice to have this fairly major change communicated (even if you have auction email notifications turned off)...

Omg the site is so crap/annoying.
I only ever use on mobile, and I don't know if it's because of that or not, but it doesn't display very well, there doesn't appear to be a search function, or a filter for game used, and you can't view a particular photo without having to scroll all the way through or back again. Did they even test this?

I've been getting emails from them. I haven't tried logging in yet though, nor looked at the site yet.

I had to change my password to access the new site. I'm on my computer, not mobile device.

I see the current auction but I don't know if that it what you mean by marketplace. I don't see anywhere else where people are selling cards for 'buy it now' if that's what you mean.

I'm able to search the current auction. However, I can't find any past history of sales which would be really annoying if they don't transfer that over. My past auctions haven't transferred to the new site either. Hopefully that will be happening since I can't get to the old website.

Hi All
some notes here
1. past auction result is saved in the old platform and WILL BE MIGRATED AND MOVED OVER ...it is not lost and all past results will eventually be on the new platform and saved forever.
2. past invoices and past user data is the same as above, it will be moved over
3. There have been numerous complaints about the limited number of lots that can be viewed on 1 page (including from ME) and that is a top priority to fix for bidders
4. They are working out bugs on the search function.
5. Vault marketplace BIN listings will be available shortly on this platform.
6. there have been consistent emails going out urging all users to log into the new platform and change their password (which activates their account). if you are registered and have NOT been getting them, check your spam or email support@goldinauctions.com as you may have accidently unsubscribed.

due to constant crashes and system errors on the old platform (as everyone here is painfully aware) the goal was to get the new system up on a stable environment ASAP with the number one priority being system stability (ie: crash avoidance). this has been done.
I am meeting with the tech team tomorrow to prioritize the order of anything and everything that needs to be done and get some timetable to improve the user experience. Feel free to post any and all bugs AND SUGGESTIONS in this thread and if you have an issue or see something very out of whack please email it to support@goldinauctions.com

Number of lots per page is really the only issue. Once that gets bumped up, it'll be great.

Sounds like others didn't get any email notices for some reason but I got plenty. Had no problems getting my account moved over.

Site wasn’t ready for launch. Combine the search errors with the limited number of items per page, and it makes it unusable. I search Tom Brady and I get things like a signed 1985 Topps McGwire, a Pele signed poster, and a Cal Ripken bat. And when you apply a filter, the filter gets reset if you click on an item and then go back. Even if I wanted to take the time to click through every page, the page crashes are so frequent that it makes it impossible to do so. Hope this gets fixed today.

You can search? How?

I go to the 'buy' menu and it displays:
(Top menu) a box with a cross through it on the left, Goldin logo in the middle.
(Next section) a drop down with the word filter in it, with a box with a cross through it on either side. On the right of this is a sort drop down.
(Next section) the listings.

I assume the boxes are some form of icon, but they don't display for me. I also see no place for a search box to be located.

Can you tell me what browser and what devise you are using when this occurs?
I will put on top of priority list
I am using a desktop/ chrome and or a ipad; safari and cannot replicate this

I’m on Safari on my iPhone and this is what I get half the time I try to search something. Happens while I’m entering text into the search box.

You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig! I think there's parts of the new site that are actually worse than the original. The search function is truly embarrassing. With all that investor money and w/ over a year to fix things...I would think it would be further along than a website redesign that's marketed as a "marketplace". It never should've been launched as is. I would find a new tech team!

I’m primarily using my iPad but occasionally a desktop with Chrome or Edge. Getting the same error page as Khal in the post below your response.

I should have a date on this next Monday . I am hopeful that date will be in NOVEMBER, but will wait to announce

Search correction and lot format are the 2 top priorities and will be adjusted so search is 100% relevant and lots can be viewed as many per page as user chooses. These 2 items are very short term, I do not know yet if that means this week or next, but it is imminent.

BTW, a 3rd party platform was previously used, SAS( simple auction site which powers hundreds of auction sites) this is 100% solely a goldin platform so this is/ was a ground up from scratch product, not a “ makeover”

Search is definitely my main issue. It’s hard with so many lots and searches not returning the proper results.

I still can't even see a search function?

I'm using Chrome on Android. Lots of things not displaying properly. Definitely no sign of a search function as far as I can see.

Click on the search icon and you should be able to type in your search
