here are some cards that seem more obscure that most people forgot about or from sets that are completely overshadowed by more mainstream stuff....

The Bowman Locker Room Collection is /8 and the Skybox E-XL is /3. The other two are promos from the 2007 Hawaii Trade Conference - Mainland Edition in Ft. Lauderdale. Although they look like the typical 1957-58 variation autos from that year, they were serial numbered out of 25 and the backs show the logo/information from the show. I think they only produced 3 different cards (Bosh, Wade and Carter).

Broke some 1994 Collector's Choice Series 2 Hobby Basketball looking for MJ base. I knew there was an MJ Jumbo Auto, no dice, but it was cool to land one nonetheless. A Jumbo Auto of Calbert Cheaney

Partial showoff/question I have for this card:

This jersey number version was opened in a box by someone I knew early this year...wondering if the Kaleido 1/1 auto has ever been seen from 16/17? Nothing on BGS/PSA Pop Report that I can see.

Ok got a pretty crazy one here, found this in a box at a shop for $15, at first glance thought it was just another 96 Topps Iverson rookie. Then I noticed the embossed Topps logo in the shorts. Turn it over and its hand numbered 04/100. Had to do some deep diving to find out about these and apparently these were buy backs from some of the biggest stars and inserted all hand numbered to /100 except for LeBron was /50 I believe.

Think looking at the list these are some of the only numbered rookie cards for some of these guys. As you can see from the following link, only 24 total out of the 950 possible of these even graded and Beckett shows another 11.

That's really a shame. 98/99 Thunder is one of my favorite products ever released.

Love this thread. We keep this kind of thing up, I'd be visiting BO more often.

Some seriously cool cards in here i've never seen or even heard of before. I'm definitely enjoying this thread!

I'll throw this one in the mix. 99-00 UD Gold 1/1. These will come up from time to time on eBay and the like but i'm guessing it's one that a not lot of people have on their radar.

Here's an odd one - if you're into pre-war vintage, you may have seen this before:

I don't know why these two images are so huge, I have a Stadium Club Garnett like this.

Or why this one comes out so tiny, supposedly there are 9 more of these but the only other cabinet I've seen was the Larry Bird/Adam Morrison.

This isn't that rare..numbered to 50 but I don't think I've really seen this card much..just wish the Lebron was a better patch!

Here's a rarer card. My favorite Steph Curry card because of the giant patch

I don't think they had Kaleido yet in 16/17

I agree wholeheartedly. I wish they would really differentiate their sets better. Like don't have the same checklists for EVERY product. I wish they kept making Complete with all of the players from 1-15 on every team. It makes no sense in having the same players in a set like Prizm, with Complete and NT.

That LOB cut is amazing. They used to do more cut autos earlier in their run with the license, but they've scaled back a ton. What a shame.
