That's why I absolutely hate this being the foot. Plus the additional time needed for him to get back into game shape and conditioning. Poop. Pure poop.

Just praying it doesn't get re-aggravated. Glad the x-rays appear to be fine and he's slowly progressing to the next stage. He's got to get the weight down below 270. He just has to. Whether or not he and his personal chef mom are willing to heed to team instruction (shouldn't it be the other way around?) is another story.

So much weirdness surrounding this relation$hit. Angelina and Billy Bob Thornton type ish.

It's mean spirited that they play this video on the jumbotron while he's out there

I would almost think he gained the weight on purpose to try to give an excuse to get traded, maybe just a fat suit?

But ya seriously my worst injury of my life, the foot, never would have thought about it until it happens. Do to pressure and swelling I could lay back and watch my toes dance on their own. To this day the middle one goes straight for no reason then relaxes back all based on my legs resting position. Nerves and tendons when under pressure or scar tissue do weird things. If I jump hard on it I sometime feel a shooting pain, from what, who knows lol

Hope it gets better for ya one day.

Gah...nerves...I know all about that. The feet are the gateway to mobility. About the only positive I can take from this is the odds are favorable. And I'm willing to give his John Goodman cosplay a complimentary hood pass. He's already got the metabolism of a sloth, so not being able to train or do weight bearing activities for 2+ months will show.

I think this is the last early season delay my heart can deal with. Will gladly link with the BO Weight Watchers pitchforks if 2022 gets off to the same news.

I have a feelin the boi will be back eventually and maybe with a new team, its not weight gain, its negotiation.

For those of us representing the buy side in the market I thought I’d put up a couple of posts with recent acquisitions if for no other reason to let the believers know there are more of us out here scooping up assets. I will go down with this ship or ride the tide into a beautiful sunset. Carpe Diem.

One more… I purchased a PSA 9 nearly a month ago, never thought a 10 could be had at the price I paid. The hunt continues… there are so many more…

Nice, was that the one that just ended? I bid on both recent sales, the ratio of the Optic vs Prizm white sparkles is mind boggling. I would have bid more but cash poor right now and just bought a couple other HUGE cards I’ve been waiting to get for a while. And since I have this card already it just doesn’t feel the same picking up just to flip

Indeed it was. It is an incredible difference. In the last Goldin Auction his Prizm White Sparkle in BGS 9 sold for just over $40K before BP and this past week the same card in a BGS 8.5 sold for $21K on Ebay.

Zion is the ultimate high-risk, high-reward guy. If you are a gambler and have deep pockets, Zion is the play right now.

But, if you are poor and broke, Zion is the worst investment ever!

I see alot of people that like to eat like him in Walmart. They aren't going to win any NBA Championships either.

Maybe it's just me, but If I were the laughing-stock of the league and people were making jokes about something I had complete control of, it would light a fire under me to prove everyone wrong.

I hope that's the approach Zion takes and doesn't eat his depression away and throw himself a constant pity-party.

Will be very interesting to see how Zion responds to this and will tell me a lot about his character and desire. So far, I have always been very impressed with him, but this is certainly a cross-roads for him.

Well not just that, but Zion is potentially throwing away a ton of money as well. Perhaps he is comfortable with his rookie contract and endorsement deals, but he is never going to get max money by being beastly and only playing bench minutes.

He has the training staff available to him 24/7 I am sure, but I am sure the team isn't going to force him to do anything. I love food just as much as Zion, but if I knew I could make HUGE money for my career, I would have a 6-pack and be in the best shape of my life in order to get that contract. Zion has all the time in the world once he retires to resemble the likes of Charles Barkley.
